Oh, that pic soooo reminds me of our family dog, who would peer over the edge of the dinner table with those sad eyes, hoping for a ladle of Mom's green bean casserole. When he finished, the bowl was spotless, save for the peas he'd left behind. While my girlfriends were off learning to tie cherry stems with their tongues, I was busy trying to sort out peas. I still can't do it.

Hump day? Isn't that something to do with camels?

I remember the guys used to sing this song at the rugby club when I was younger (don't look Val, it's too mucky for your sensitive eyes).

The sexual life of the camel
Is stranger than anyone thinks
At the height of the mating season
He tries to bugger the Sphinx
But the Sphinx's posterior orifice
Is filled with the sands of the Nile
Which accounts for the hump on the camel
And the Sphinx's inscrutable smile.

(Sung to the tune of the Eton College Boating Song. But you all knew that)

Thank you Maddy. Mom is OK although very weak and tired. Dad and I have found a lady who will come to help at home until she feels stronger enough to cook and take care of the house again. Thanks again for you kind words. Hugs you back.
