DelizaLove
What kind of scripting editors are good for scripting LSL ? I used Notepad++ before for some other stuff. I can still use that ?
Rolig Loon
Sure. Notepad++ works fine. I use LSL Editor myself and like its formatting tools and error messages. If I'm doing something quick, I find the script editor in the viewer is handy, but get frustrated by its lousy error messages. Many people use it, though. There's quite a large selection to choose from >>> http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/LSL_Alternate_Editors
Poltergeist Azarov
I use "Sublime text 2" even though it was not easy to setup. However, much better than notepad++
Estelle Pienaar
Would you mind to post a short instruction hw to set-up sublime text? I tried and failed.
Poltergeist Azarov
Hello, sorry I havent checked the forum since few days. I just saw your request. You will need to use Sublime text 2 first of all (since version 3 does not work properly yet). Then package control has to be installed. See: https://packagecontrol.io/installation and the last step is to add LSL syntax addon at https://github.com/Makopo/sublime-text-lsl Note: Actually its not that difficult to setup as much as it was for me since I already find the best syntax file and such by almost a week of research and tests. It was so difficult for me... Enjoy it

Innula Zenovka
I've now managed to get Sublime Text 3 to play nicely with LSL. I used to use Notepad++ but I agree, Sublime Text is way, way better. It lets you test your syntax (Tools>Build), which took me a while to discover, but which I find a great help.
