What happened to The Haunted Amityville House?

Hi, I was wanting to visit The Amityville House. One of The Haunted Games. What happened to that?

That was a fine haunted house, but the Amityville region went off line on July 16, 2013 and the haunted house vanished with it.  Sic transit gloria Vitam Secundam.

For those who don't know Latin, it means "Gloria threw up on the bus after eating a second damned vitamin."
For those who know Latin and love halloween, it means "Worldly things are fleeting."
For those who know Latin and hate halloween, it means "This too shall pass"...

...which is what those who don't know Latin told Gloria.

I always thought this phrase meant - "Fame is Fleeting."

The feeling is there in all of them. Literally, "Thus go the glories of the world..." or in my paraphrase,"Thus go the glories of Second Life." It's been more than half a century since I used my HS Latin for anything much, though, so I might have said something ghastly.

Dad and I went to the same engineering school (35 years apart), and both of us were on the staff of the school newspaper. The paper's motto was "Vidi, Vici, Veni. The crabgrass in the lawn of journalism." There were very few students in both Dad's day and mine that understood the impact of re-ordering the words Caesar's of famous phrase. And only in the McMaster's family is that phrase neither misogynist nor misandrist. It's simply wishful thinking.
