Where to find land info?

Where do I find out what the different land descriptions mean??   Like...."light commercial"   Thanks in advance for your help

"Ligjt commercial" and similars AREN'T "official". You must contact (IM, notecard...)  with the owner of the land and he/she explain you the exact meaning in that land.

The only precised description as far as I am concerned is region kind PG, Mature and Adult which you can see at the top of the screen. The different descriptions which are written by land owner only this person can explain. Could you tell where "light commercial" is from?

if your looking for sim rules you would be looking at the convant. click the land discription (sim name) then click the convant tab

mainland has no convant however is run under the TOS the estates will provide details on sim script ussge and infomation on themes etc via the convant.

Under the TOS and CS run Mainland, but also Private Regions, States, Openspaces and the Sun of SL .

It no longer states "light commercial" in the about land.  It is an Adult Homestead.  Is there a limit to the number of Avis allowed on a homestead?  Geezzzz...I'm confused!

If you ask about number of avatars allowed on island - there is max number - it is chosen by an owner, usually 50-80. If you ask how many awatars can be on your future parcel... hmm probably as many as far they dont cause huge lag and don't disturb neighbours.

 

Edit: Homestead as Ann wrote has lower limits for avatars' number and prims. One scripted tiger can sometimes lag all island in this case.

Homestead regions are hard capped to 20 avatars and scripts run about 4 times more slowly. They are for light use. Great for a personal island residence. Or for a lightly visited store that does not use networked vendors.

Not sure how "adult" equipment will do on a homestead. Someone that uses such things would have to report results.

 

Edited to add: A full region supports 15,000 prims. A homestead region supports only 3750 prims.

In that document, "light commercial" is simillar to "little", throughnum. of prims, max. avatars, script limits, etc.
