Continuation of http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Viewers/I-want-to-upgrade-to-Snowglobe-2/qaq-p/2465977

The link that Amethyst provided in that thread is the only one available.

If you want to provide extra information or need to clarify your question, click on the Options link in the upper right corner of your question and select EDIT. Please do not start a new thread. Doing that makes it hard for us to see what other people have already suggested, and it pushes other residents' questions off the page.

"Snowstorm" is a developer's project - the only downloads usually available are actual source code (raw programming language) that needs to be compiled by the downloader in order to have a usable viewer. Different developers may be working on different features and fixes at any given time. There isn't usually a "Snowstorm viewer" available and when there is it's listed with the other beta viewers.

the project snowstorm page is a little out of date. current practice is to work from the released viewer sources, the central development branch is no more.

to build these, start here

http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Get_source_and_compile

this changes from week to week, but right now the Fitted Mesh viewer has the latest set of contributions from outside LL.
