Question

Hi again people!

I want to know about the highest elevated piece of land currently on Second Life. Is it a mountain? A building? I am looking for something which is on Mainland or is PART of the Mainland. I am NOT looking for a Skybox because those do not sit on the ground but rather up in the sky on their own. And where is it located?

From https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Limits

Maximum terrain height: 255 meters using inworld controls (mainland limit), 510 meters by using a *.raw file upload.

That doesn't tell you where such a high spot might be, but at least it tells you how high it can be.  FYI, once Linden Lab has established a terrain, you can only terraform +/- 4 m from the current ground level if you are on a mainland sim.  BTW, in theory, you can stack prims as high as you want, up to the 4096m building limit, so a building could theoretically have its top at 4096m.  I have no idea whether anyone has bothered to do that.
