expansion on facial expressions

when will we be able to do more than the basic facial expression? i really want to be able to arch an eyebrow or do the billy idol lip curl.

Not sure that is on the lindens "Top things to do list"
There are mesh alternatives, IE Mesh avatars sometimes have interesting expressions since the maker can model some of those in ^.^

There are HUDS, often included in the "Multi-Gadget" type products, that range from a smile to other types of expressions like surprise, fear, frown, etc.  Personally, the "Smiler" that does random smiles always seems a bit creepy to me, maybe because the "smile" pops up sometimes in "non-smiley" moments.

Something a friend of mine said about those random smilers just popped into my head. he said the only people who smile randomly tend to be babies with gas or psychotics, and when he sees someone with a random smiler, he never knows whether someone is going to pass gas or stab him with a prim knife.
