No, not even a script error, I am puzzled.

Val you may have already done the obvious but have you cleared cache? I had this about two years ago but with sculpts after some updates and server updates one particular sculpted piece of clothing would never render and show up as a weird round object very much like your picture above. I had to clear cache and then also reunpack the box it came in to get a new copy.

All I know is that the little triangles are the icons for mesh and that sometimes happens to me, but usually goes away after a relog. I don't know if a relog fixes it or if it just resolves itself in time. You might also want to reset your modem and or router if you can. 

Also, as an idea, have you tried turning up MeshMaxConcurrentRequests?

Yes, its default is 32, it is recommended you just bump it up until your problems are solved. I used to keep mine at 1000 but I recently read it causes lag for others so I am back down to 32 again.
