In your Preferences, there is a setting you can enable to show location at login.  When this is enabled, there will be a location box on your login screen.  You can select Last Location, Home, or type in a location.  Set it to "Home".

Then, you need to HAVE a Home location.  Your Linden Home is not automatically your Home location.  While standing in the home, go to World/Set Home to Here.  You should see a confirmation, "Home Position Set".

Now when you log in, you should arrive at your Linden Home, and not another.

How do I allow my wife set her home at my home also?  It will not let her set HOME at my house.  I have a group and she has full privileges.  Need help, she needs to set my linden house to her home too.

I have no way of knowing what you meant by "full privileges", but double check to be sure that her role in your group includes the ability to allow 'Set Home to Here' on Group Land.
