Adding to what Aurelia said, some shoes used to be made with 'sounds' in them. They'd make noise as you walk. There are still some things made like this but most now give you the option to turn the sound off. Exact instructions on how to will vary by designer. As far as the "object' you can't take off, we need more details in order to help you. There are a few things you can't take off, only replace. So you need to be very specific for us to assist you.
