Can't create a shop! Heeeelp! I'm desperated!!!

I had other account which I created a shop with no problem...but now, happens this:

and then I click in the billing thing and then happens this:

WHAT I DO? I dont want to give my credic card infos... I just want to earn some money to spend in the game... --'

 

Please help me!! :/

On 11/11/2013, LL established a new rule that you must have payment information on file for the avatar listed as the merchant in to open a shop on Marketplace.   Unfortunately if you want to use your alt you must put PIOF.

You can always open a shop inworld.  Just rent or purchase some land and put up a shop.

Unfortunately, or fortunately-depending on which side of the coin you reside, getting that whole "payment info on file" thing, is easier than actually putting real payment info on file. All you have to do is make a purchase on mp...and voila, you now have piof. That's not some uber secret they don't want people to know, either. It's something we've been talking about for quite some time now-through various different debates about all kinds of topics.

I created an alt a few days ago for some product testing. She has piof, all because I made a purchase through mp.So, to the OP, you don't need to put your credit card info in, just make a purchase on the MP. I got piof buying a freebie item-an ao actually(the duck walk was grating on my nerves for some reason, lmao).

 

I won't debate whether or not this is a good thing. I'm just sharing info for those who don't want to put their financials out there..for whatever reason(again, not something I choose to debate)

While it's still true that you will become PIOF that way, and are able to upload mesh, after the IP Tutorial, it didn't let me create a MP store just with that. At least when I tested it a few weeks ago.
