No copy/gacha item disappeared on rezzing. Clearing caches etc. did not help.

So, for the second time in 12 hours, a no copy/gacha boxed item disappeared upon rezzing it out to unbox.

It is nowhere to be found, not on the sim, not in my inventory after clearing caches. I have tried it all. Area search, minimap check, Ctrl+Alt+T, land's object list...nothing. And since the item was resold by someone, I can not contact the creator about it, either, even with transaction history etc.

Do I send in a ticket? Am I not aware of a nifty trick that'll save me from hunting down and having to purchase a lost item, AGAIN?

Sometimes I have found the no copy item in my lost and found folder after re-logging.

Some things I do to try and minimize issues with rezzing no copy items:

 - stand on actual ground (not inside a house, for example)

- make sure the parcel is one I have rez rights in (and I have the appropriate group tag activated, if applicable)

- rez the item down right by my feet

Check the <0,0,0> location on the sim.  The sim will sometimes put things there that it doesn't know what to do with.  You may find a whole pile of stuff there, so look carefully.
