I'm sometimes getting a "Failed Authentication" message when I try to award kudos

Twice in the past two days I've tried to give a Kudo in Answers, and gotten this message:

Authentication Failed. Authentication Ticket Mismatched, failed authentication.

 

Is anyone else seeing this?

Using Windows 10, Chrome browser.

EDIT:  Wow, Whirly is right!  (But then, Whirly is a Sooooooper Genius!)  But that raises the next question:  Why in the world is the page not keeping me logged in?  I never had to re-sign in before!

Not recently, but when I have received that message in the past, it's because the system has somehow lost track of who I am. I don't know how that happens, since I obviously need to be logged in to get the message, but relogging fixes it.

Just happened to me but I can see why it did.

I'd opened a few answer threads while not logged in.  I clicked on the Kudos button on your post here and the login page came up as expected.  Logged in & Kudos was added.

Then I went to the next thread & clicked the Kudos button and that error message popped up.

I hadn't refreshed that page before I clicked Kudos so I wasn't "logged in" on that page.
