your account isn't hacked, you most likely got fished and accepted a malicious object or gave away your pw to a malicious site.

I can't imagine support told you only to change pw and nothing else, they normally investigate these things quite well.

For assistence you need LL support, contact them. Check your spamfolder from your email and for open support tickets if there is any message

I got to the post office here is the letter:

"Dear NataLinka38 Resident,

We have temporarily disabled access to your Second Life account because of some unusual activity. We have taken this step for the security of your account. Don't worry, as you can easily regain access to your account by resetting your password from our website using the "Forgot your login information?" from the login screen.

While securing your account for you, we noticed that some transactions took place by someone other than yourself, and we have refunded them, please see the details below:

We recovered L$700 that was removed from your account. We were unable to recover the remaining L$27.

We would like to provide you with some tips to keep your account and its assets secure in the future:

It is never a good idea to share your account or password with anyone, because it puts your account at risk for theft and unauthorized activity.

Please be aware of any suspicious links or instant messages that you may receive in Second Life or via email, especially those which may claim to be sent from Linden Lab, or any that offer free or discounted L$. These may be phishing attempts to gain your account login information.

Anytime you feel your account is at risk or was compromised, immediately change your password to something new and contact us or create a support case.

Be sure that your anti-virus software is up-to-date. We recommend malware checks periodically.

It is a good idea to frequently change your password. Be sure to use something strong that contains symbols and characters. It's important that you do not use the same password for Second Life that you use on any other websites. This will protect your Second Life account if another service is compromised.

If you have problems accessing your account, or if you have questions regarding this matter, we ask that you contact Second Life Support either by opening a Support Case at https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/ or calling our Support Line and asking to speak to a Fraud Specialist.

Regards,

Second Life Support

If you already have a Support Case open, please wait for a response there, submitting more cases will not expedite resolution."

And:

"NataLinka38 Resident,

You requested a password reset for your Second Life account.

If you requested this change, click this link to reset your password within the hour:

And if you are responding to emails, DO NOT FOLLOW ANY LINKS IN THEM.  They may be false emails sent by the people trying to get access to your account.  If you are told to change your password, do it by manually browsing to the SL website and your Dashboard page.
