I´ve started to create jewelry but I´m having too many problems when I need to zoom in to work with very very very very very small prims. I already disabled the camera constrains, tried to use many viewers and changed the camera angle. When I zoom in very close the objects get very very distorced. Does anybody knows how can I work with that seeing the objects in a regular way, or if there is some viewer with special stuff for builders? While taking the printscreen below I realised that my piercings looked fine. So can it be a problem of LOD?

Meu shape nem é dos melhores na vida real, nem meu cabelo é da Lelutka, mas confesso que meu senso para moda e estética mudou muito e pra melhor desde que entrei no Second Life. Quando entrei em 2007, levei muito do meu estilo real para dentro do metaverso, mas de algum tempo pra cá, o inverso tem acontecido. Já me peguei comprando roupas reais, algumas idênticas e que sou apaixonada no Second Life. Inúmeras vezes eu já compus um look na vida real, inspirando-me em meu avatar. Fica só faltando mesmo meus pumps da Lelutka, esses não encontro em lugar algum! [ English + Português ] Has SL Fashion changed your RL way of dressing? My shape is not the best in real life, neither my hair is Lelutka, but I confess that my sense for fashion and beauty and has changed a lot and for better since I started Second Life. When I joined in 2007, I took much of my real style into the metaverse, but some time down here, the opposite has happened. I have found myself buying real clothes, some identical and which I love in Second Life. Countless times I've created a look in real life, inspired by my avatar style. The only problem is that I cannot find my Lelutka Pumps. I cannot find them anywhere!

Amazing post Berry !! Recently I´ve tried dark tones on male avatars, also with braids from Discord Designs (btw I met this store in your blog). I love Tellaq Skins. I tried the female ones from Laq and Dutch Touch. I am thinking to buy braids for myself hehe

Ando um pouco preocupada e receiosa quanto aos meshes ainda. Eu li hoje que sairá uma versão do Phoenix Viewer com suporte ao Mesh, tamanho é o amor (e desespero) dos usuários que não querem ainda encarar a interface do viewer 2. Acho que os meshes vão limitar e nivelar os criadores, pois exige um belo conhecimento de modelagem 3D. Ainda não to animada não. É lindo, mas não estou animada. Quero escrever no fórum a respeito disso. Já já escrevo ^^ -- I've been a little worried about the meshes and fearful yet. I read today that Phoenix Viewer will release soon a Mesh Viewer compatible version, such is the love (and desperation) of users who still don´t want to face the viewer 2 interface. I think the meshes will limit and level the creators, because it requires a fine knowledge of 3D modeling. I´m still not excited about meshes. It's beautiful, but I'm not excited. I want to write about this on the forums. Soon I´ll post it there ^^

Na vida real eu trabalho com marketing e design e tenho experimentado nos meus últimos trabalhos, aplicar algumas novas técnicas que aprendi por causa do Second Life. Recentemente fiz um anúncio impresso para a Samsung e usei alguns truques que aprendi editando as fotos de moda para a extinta InnerWorld Magazine. Não é preciso ir tão longe, muitas pessoas não trabalham com design como eu, mas acredito que fazer fotos para compor looks de blogs, nos ajudem até a apurar o bom gosto para fazer fotos na vida real. Já aconteceu com vocês? [ English + Português ] Learn new techniques to work in Second Life Can help real life? In real life I work with marketing and design and in my past works, I have tried to apply some new techniques I learned because of Second Life. Recently I did a print ad for Samsung and I used some tricks I learned diagramming the extinct InnerWorld Magazine. There is no need to go that far, not every people like me work with design in RL, but I think that taking pictures to compose looks for blogs, can help us to establish the good taste to make pictures also in real life. Has that already happened with you?

Eu assino os feeds pelo Google Reader. Hoje, só hoje, não li meus feeds, e tenho 626 posts pra ler, claro que muitos deles são repetidos. Não assino Flickr. Eu tava falando de blog mesmo. Não precisa ficar nervosa Na verdade bons looks e fotos andam juntos. Nenhum blog com looks fodásticos fazem sucesso se as fotos são escuras ou mal posicionadas no espaço. O mesmo acontece com blogs com fotos foda porém com looks lixo. Mas é fato que blogs com um bom layout e fotos boas, claras, nítidas têm mais seguidores. É preciso ver os itens com qualidade, não estou falando de revista. Aliás, qualidade de foto para revista e para blog não muda nada, com exceção do tamanho, porque bom gosto é universal. O mais importante é ter foto nítida, bonita. Não precisa ser uber tratada, basta ser CLARA (e não digo de brilho). Quando eu falei de encontrar bons blogs pelos feeds, eu falei dos que me chamaram a atenção pelos 2 quesitos: fotos boas + qualidade. Tae um print dos meus feeds. Ainda preciso adicionar alguns ... ^^ Aliás recomendo o google reader pra quem quer organizar seus feeds e blogs.

I got amazed and I´m still so happy for being invited !! I don´t consider myself an expert neither addicted as Vick, but I believe that Fashion in SL is the perfect way to improve our gifts and abilities. I´ll talk about that tomorrow ^^ Fashion is what moves 90% of SL. We live that, we work that, we are fashion \o/. I just love it.

Sou assinante de feeds e através deles conheci alguns outros blogs que assinei individualmente. Acho interessante participar de feeds sim. Se o blog for de alta qualidade, com fotos arrasadoras, a pessoa pode ir diretamente nele e não estará dentre milhares de outros.

Eu fui criadora do meu shape até o começo de 2010 quando em um dos editoriais de moda para a InnerWorld, fotografei com um dos shapes criados pela Vick e apaixonei. Fazer shape todo mundo pode fazer, mas ter a consciência de fazer com proporções ideais e corretas, poucas pessoas fazem. Hoje a busca dos avatares é em busca de tamanhos próximos aos da realidade, menores. Já se foi o tempo em que todos eram cavalões hahahaha. O shape ideal tem que ter casar com a skin, já vi inúmeros avatares feios, com skins de qualidade. O erro é o shape. Dá até pena. Achei legal vc ter falado do shape em Mesh, mas confesso que ainda não estou interessada e tentada a usar shape em Mesh não. Talvez eu nunca me interesse pelo fato de não poder editar meu próprio shape e haver limitações em usar skins. Acho que tudo é novo demais, é uma tecnologia que está longe de ser comum para todos os avatares que estão acostumados com o tipo de forma e modelo 3D que foi apresentado ao SL desde seu inicio. Implantar isso vai ser complicado. Acho que funcionaria melhor numa plataforma (num outro metaverso) se aplicado desde o início (se todos começassem da mesma forma). Mas não me interessa mesmo. Um dia quero usar uma dutch touch, outro dia uma Glam Affair, outro dia Laqroki, mas quero continuar com o Shape da Art Body Store. Tenho avatares alternativos (alts) que estão inativos por mais tempo e não foram deletados. O que pode acontecer é um avatar premium ficar bloqueado, caso a conta paga não seja renovada após 1 ano.
