Well maybe you missed it but I've been mentioning teens and tweens from the start, intentionally separating them from the "child" designation as people often clump them together.

Maybe that has to do with the RL laws. In my country, even with consent of both actors: any sexual penetration with someone under 14 is considered statutory rape. Adults having sexual intercourse with those between 14 & 16 may be prosecuted for molestation. Between 16 & 18, it's allowed under parental authority, but age difference between the 2 may not exceed 3 years, plus parents may intervene if they think the sexual relationship is harming the minor.

I think if anyone wants to post some more pictures of avatars to discuss how old they look, it would be best so to do in a thread dedicated to that topic, possibly in the Your Avatar forum.

If someone would like to start that thread, I'll port the last few pictures over, but please don't post any more of them in this thread.

There is already such thread in the Your Avatar section of the forum.

    Ya, don't do that!! \o/

I use both bodies myself and the older body is still a very nice body. I was using it yesterday and today..

There is lots of new things plus many updated things for the lara X for you to find.. But  sometimes it's still nice to jump back into the older version. :)

Same here, swaps regulary between the 2 versions of the body, till my wardrobe has enough items for Lara X that pleases me.

The pint sized anti-adult-activities griefer visited an A rated region with intent to disrupt and destroy the adults SL.

Abuse Report, mute, derender, punt kick and ban ARE defensive measures.

If the walking ToS violation hadn't violated the ToS, no defensive action would have been needed.

They risked that themselves when they deliberately violated the LL ToS. You always talk about "taking personal responsibility".

They broke the rules knowing it could cost them their account, they should accept that they are responsible for getting their account AR'd and banned.

For every nitwit that causes troubles on an A rated sim, there are a bunch that keep themselves to the books. And then there is the aspect of courtesy, which you seem to lack: Ask, if a child avatar ends up on an A rated place, to change to an adult form.

There is however a significant percentage who would be considered as around the late teen. Too many think of "child" as only referring to an 8 year old but there is a quite wider range that for the purpose of the ToS would be included.

Late teens, as in 18 - 19. We consider the group between 18 and 25 as young adults.

In what world will this work?   I have 3 bodies in my inventory, are they going to disappear?  There is simply no way a modesty layer will work with the current body system when skins and bodies can be changed at will.    Unless they demand a modesty layer for all bodies, child and adult, all sizes, it simply will not work.  If they are intending the break the rules in private this rule does nothing to stop them in any way.  It is simply unenforceable unless you completely change the way the entire system works.

That would be the nail in the coffin for SL.

Maybe LL should think about banning the people that go around derendering a child av's clothing.       Just saying.

Here, hitting the nail on the head. LL goes the way like so many things in the world nowadays. Blaming and punishing the victims/mass and not the offenders. Child/teen/woman doesn't r*ped it/herself because it/she is dressed provocative, it's the perv that isn't able to keep his hands at home.

It's why a few people have mentioned the necessity of skins for Maitreya (for instance) with baked-in modesty undies.

In practice, of course, anyone using a Maitreya can likely just claim to be 18+ if they are ever queried on it.

The Maitreya body is a body for adult people. Don't punish those that are using the body as intended because a minority of them are abusing it for things that can't see the light of the day.

Height and I don't think breast size have to do with being a child. Not all women are from the U.S., not all of them are from E.U, It's how you act, what you're wearing, how you're presenting yourself in total, not just looking cute or something as in if your whole aesthetic is a child.

Height does not matter as long as you are an adult.

it's about setting a baseline of what is being considered a child in SL. If you are running around in a child avatar, but act and talk as an adult, I would be more worried about your intentions then if you would talk and act as a child.

  10. Loads of bickering as what is considered child and adult and the in betweens, but not one jota of what of minimum sizes what can be used as adult proportions:

My height is 1m55 (as stated as minimum allowed size on one adult sim to be considered not a child/underaged), breast size is 45 because this size is a "good looking" size on the Maitreya Lara V5.3 with or without "petite" add-on, LaraX & LaraX Petite.

If you have other minimum requirements in mind, be free to post them.

I'm not sure what you are meaning. I haven't used that feature much myself, so I'm not understanding how that would work or works , to be honest.. hehehe

Isn't it LL responsibility that clothed child avatars can't be derendered piece by piece of their clothing, instead of forcing them to wear baked in modesty parts in the skin. It's like telling someone not to kill somebody but giving that person the gun.

The rule puts the blame on the user of the avatar and nobody else, is pretty much what I was saying..

The users hand is in the cookie jar with nobody else to blame but themselves..

The skin maker is required to bake in a modesty layer now.. It doesn't matter what went on before the rule changes with skin makers.

It does now and they can get flagged for not baking one in now..

They could also have killed the derender feature of the viewer.
