I'm not overly familiar with hair for women so I thought I'd ask here. I am trying to recreate this painting in SL. Most rigged hair works on the basis that you're standing upright so it falls toward your feet. This would need to fall sideways from the head. Flex hair might work, though I have no idea what they look like these days. The hair doesn't have to be frizzy like in the painting but I'm more concerned with it hanging down. Does anyone have suggestions on hair that might suit? Thanks

Waaay back in the day when I joined SL we had to pick our surnames from a list. You know the story. Anyway I had heard about a steampunk sim in SL that was new and I thought that it might be interesting to give this Second Life thing a look. Scrolling through the surname options nothing resonated until I got to Pearse. Then I remembered Sean Connery's character in the movie The Great Train Robbery was called Edward Pierce. And thus I found my name.

I'm very new to mesh heads, mainly because the range of options have been so limited. Since I started SL 12 years ago my avatar has had his looked based on Sean Connery. My initial slider attempts were pretty poor, but then I bought one of the celebrity lookalike shapes and have been pretty happy with that ever since. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on what mesh head to buy that would allow me to customise it to a reasonable Sean Connery lookalike. Tips on customisation would also be welcome. Does anyone know if it's possible to make a semi-transparent or ghost skin either using a .tga alpher layer on a skin texture or using tattoo layers or something?

I haven't been able to post a snapshot to my feed in a little over two weeks now. Nothing has changed my end, still the same version of the client but suddenly "failed to upload image to your profile feed" is all I've been getting when I try.
