Torley--what qualifies as LEGAL movies? I have a movie theatre in mind but I want to make sure it's considered legal.

I like your choices so far. I would also recommend G. Sloane Couture at Cedarwood. What I appreciate about the layout of it is that it reminds me of a RL high-end department store like Macy's or Bloomingdales. The building is brick, the coloring of the walls red/maroon, marble floors. Very classy and simple, very reflective of the owner/clothing designer. If you want I'll try to give you some pictues.

try two things: 1. I don't show up as an Oval, but a puffball of light. Sometimes Rebake (ctrl-alt-R) will make me appear. 2. Failing the rebake idea, some viewers allow what's called a 'character test'. If you click on that, depending on if you're male or female, it will load a default version of an avi, then you change back to yourself. It's important to know your shape and skin and everything to get yourself back to yourself, though. I don't know if Viewer 2 allows it, but the Emerald-bsed viewers like Phoenix and Emergence has a specific button for character tests, so you may need to temporarily download another viewer if you have Viewer 2 to achieve this step.

Can someone please post the final totals that were raised by the 2-day event this past weekend at Gwampa's Dance Kamp? I know the Inworld music community really came together and busted their butt on that festival, not to mention Gwampa Lomu. I am humbled at how time and again our community comes together during these kind of crises and gives what it can to help.

May I also suggest a link to Photobucket, if you're going to link outside social media? There are photos I have in photobucket that don't transfer well into SL if I try to save an image.

Greetings Rodvik and welcome to SL! No doubt your policy at EA had to be the games had to be played by the employees to understand them, and if that's the case the fact you're carrying this over here is a good sign. I do hope though you make going Inworld a regular occurrence and not just do it for the first few weeks and then drop it, thinking you know everything you need to know. The one constant within SL is constant change. Many Residents have already given you great suggestions, but I'll add a couple more. One, please make a regular point of visiting the growing music scene in SL with the idea this may truly become the future of the music business itself, where small to mid-level artists who can't afford major national or international tours could reach wide exposure and ultimately sales of their recorded material. But not if the clubs where the artists perform continue to experience such extreme lag the sims crash on a regular basis with even half-full venues. There are certain very popular venues in SL for music I simply will not visit anymore because their lag problems make it impossible to enjoy the music. The second suggestion I have is to spend some time living not just as a noob, but as someone who does not have the skill to build or the creativity to make clothing to sell and see how it is they learn to earn Lindens. While I'm not a prude and certainly do enjoy my time in Zindra and adult clubs, there should be more opportunities in SL to earn Lindens on a regular basis other than working as strippers and prostitutes. Not everyone has the RL equipment available to DJ or perform in clubs, and either gaming or camping can be very inconsistent. Therefore, LL should be exploring and encouraging more opportunities for Residents to be able to earn Lindesn in 'clean' occupations, especially now that teens are Inworld. With that being said, I hope to see you around SL somewhere. If you want you could potentially IM me (or others) Inworld and we can give you suggestions on where to have a good time.

Quit bitching people--issues like dashboards and sim crossings are issues that are going to take a bit longer to fix than some of you want. The issues currently being discussed are/were issues they promised could and would be taken care of by the end of the year, and that was promised in August. I've been on SL over a year and from DAY ONE I've heard people complain about group limits and chat lag. At least try to be happy about something, okay?

I just posted a rant about this today over what happened to me last night. I'm not happy. LL knows this is because of Lag, yet they're sailing down that big barge on that river of Egypt and they're not doing anything to fix the problem. FIX THE DAMN PROBLEM!!
