  1. "So even if I'm wearing my modesty later and a swimsuit and I arrived on the beach before the nude adult, and it's not a nudity beach, then I'm still at fault? The word present pretty much means that." Apparently. I find it problematic, because basically this means that a child avi pilot must leave any moderate rated place once an adult avi piilot drops undies and whatsoever. But like it or not, that´s how it is now.
  2. Residents presenting as Child Avatars shall be prohibited from the following: Engaging or participating in any event or location where nudity and/or sexual activity is present, encouraged and/or expected.
  3. Some people believe SL is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that.
  4. I do not think that it causes disruption. Do not overestimate the impact of child play. There are not so many people running child avatars, and the ToS changes basically do not change anything for the est. 95 percent users who never did and never will use a child avatar or actively interact with one. I doubt that more than a "handful" of child players ever really "resided" on A rated sims, and if, these can easily move to M rated sims, without much fuss, or change their sim to M if they really own one. The entire thing will pass almost unnoticed by the vast majority of users, no need to worry.
  5. Everything is ARable. Even drowning in Linden Water. You could AR Governor Linden for that.
  6. Well yeah, but you could apply after that. I am sure that you will be appointed.
  7. An inworld group isn´t a public forum. Anyways, do not flee. Tell them to shut up, because it´s your bloody right as child that they do so and that you will not accept the ongoing, outrageous surpression they impose on you by being adults. That will make you legions of friends.
  8. Better than changing nothing. Age/ID verification is a different story.
  9. You apparently missed the 2007 scandal and it´s fallout. Even that did not turn SL into some puritan wasteland. Also, the new regulations, targeting a very small but very active and phoney minority exclusively, are completely insignificant to anyone not participating in the child play circuit as player or benefitting by it as creator, except the vast majority of adult rated sim owners. And these sigh in relief because they finally do not have to do the work of keeping their sims out of child trouble anymore and/or finally got official clarification.
  10. There is no panic going on. A very, very few try to simulate a tsunami which appears to be a lame duck.
  11. Not a matter of looking good or bad. Matter of the ToS. Residents presenting as Child Avatars shall be prohibited from the following: Entering any Region rated Adult. Residents must change to a non-child or non-childlike avatar to visit Adult rated regions.
  12. The activist child player groups? Maybe they plan a march to LL HQ to set fire under Oberwolf´s bottom or something. Cause of these darned undies and all the terrible supression they suffer and all that. The more "grown up" child avatar player groups? They most probably watch out for skin creators updating their products and bomb Belleza and others with requests and get along evry well with the other changes . The rest of the planet? Sighs in relief or does not care at all.
  13. The FAQ does not matter. What matters are the ToS. And the ToS are perfectly precise. Child avatar content creators are required to add a modesty layer which is baked into child avatar skins or bodies, is not transparent, does not match the skin tone, and may not be removed. Child avatars where the focal point of the body is on the breasts, pelvis, or buttocks
  14. You may get away with that, even if it is a ToS violation - as long as you do not drop your clothes. But I were you I`d not proclaim it,. Just do it and hope that your mesh attachments and alphas rezz fast enough to others.
  15. Yeah, terrible. I bet millions of psychotherapists will have a lot of work over the coming weeks.
  16. And why does LL demand skin creators to add these modesty patches to the skins they sell for child avatars? I think it is perfectly clear what is meant here, and trying to find the hair in the soup where there is none by interpretation of a single word out of context is useless.
  17. Oh, it´s a cool plan. Cause...in normal (dressed) situations it does not matter, anyway. But if a child avi drops clothing attachments it does. And the second situation is exactly the situation LL adresses.
  18. No line on disallowing alphas. The ToS only demands that you wear these frekking undies which are painted on your skin.
  19. Cool that like 20 people out of like a few million users can bloat such a thing by repeating the same arguments all over again.
