if all u need to do was turn off parcel visibility then sex in your pool would be fine, but LL is too prudish for that, it has to be behind closed doors with the shades drawn. Zero adult activity is permitted anywhere outside your house on a moderate sim. And people wonder why anyone needs adult.

you cant have sex on your back patio on moderate. some of us enjoy doing it in the moonlight, so dont tell us you only need adult if you have an adult club

no, they will never increase the size of zindra or offer adult LL homes. In fact I’m pretty sure they would do away with adult altogether if they thought the lost revenue from people cancelling their premium subscriptions was a loss they could absorb.

just imagine so many adult sims that flippers cant afford the tier. that means you and I can ask LL to sell us a parcel, just like on general and moderate. the only difference is scarcity, eliminate the scarcity and the price difference will disappear

flippers wont be able to demand exorbitant prices if there is a glut of land available. its the free market at work

and you dont need to add 500 adult sims, just keep adding sims until the flippers run out of money. thats where they effed up with horizons, they stopped adding sims way too soon flippers wanna buy up all of horizons, ok here is another 500 sims for you, knock yourselves out it is possible to break the flippers

i think you are wrong about the price difference. if there were as many vacant adult sims as moderate, prices would be similar. As i said before, scarcity drives up the price, not the fact you can do the deed anywhere you want.

I thought, you little creep, you had to cam in real close to see that didn’t you. Thats why I ban child avatars on sight from all my properties, they are generally nothing but trouble.

you aren’t allowed to keep strangers off your property on beli? anyone can just walk in? as for expensive adult land, flood the market with new adult sims, land flippers dont have infinatly deep pockets, sooner or later, with enough new adult sims, the price will drop to similar to moderate. Throttled supply keeps the price of adult land high, not some perceived advantages.

thats true, if there was enough adult land, prices would drop to to same level as moderate and everyone could live there lives in accordance to the choices they want to make, and not the ones LL imposes on everyone

do residents actually submit ARs because they saw someone doing it on moderate.? Come to think of it, they do, because i was checking out a moderate parcel for sale one time that had rezz by anyone turned on. A guy i know imed me wanting to play, so i brought him over and rezzed a blanket and we went at it. Two minutes later someone imed me from the next sim over and said, i see you there, you better stop or I’ll AR you. I forget my exact reply, but i probably told them to go pleasure themselves, and go ahead and report me. SL is full of whiners, busy bodies and scolds that mine the ToS looking for ways to report people. 😂

its not about residents wanting privacy, its about uptight Linden Labs wanting to hide adult content as much as possible, either keeping it on zindra or hiding it behind multiple layers on moderate sims. im giving up on moderate, i have a parcel i was developing, but to hell with it if i have to buy all new furniture with non- adult animations. Heck if i do that I can drop my tier back to 1/16 from 1/8. Way to go Linden Labs, perhaps more residents need to say enough is enough over these childish anti- s*x rules.

lets see… behind a solid wall, uncheck see avatars inside parcel, and isn’t the parcel supposed to be set to an invite only group? To me that screams we at LL are so ashamed that adult stuff occurs in Second Life that we try our hardest to make it invisible. I read somewhere that even non sexual nudity on a moderate sim could be grounds for an AR. Its not worth the hassle. Adult stuff? Play it safe and do it on adult sims only. Has to be an obvious violation? That all depends on which LL employee is handling ARs that day

I’m starting to think that if you want to engage in any adult activity, you should do it on an adult sim, just to be safe. 😆

regarding the quote by Patch, its against the rules to have adult activities on your property outside of you house. there needs to be two levels of protection, turn off see into parcel, and only do it inside your house. so on moderate you cant do it on a lounge chair beside your backyard pool, even with a 10 ft high privacy fence. in fact are objects that contain adult even allowed outside? the whole thing screams we are going to cater to the most restrictive, uptight members of our community, so really, lets not hear about what is permitted on moderate, better to just play it safe and go to adult land. and another thing, photo realistic decor isnt allowed anywhere on moderate land.

im not going anywhere, i love Second Life, too much perhaps. im premium and also pay tier for 1/8 of a sim ( in individual parcels ). The fact that prices on Zindra are outrageous shows all the pent up demand for more adult mainland. How many people dont go premium because they refuse to pay such high prices to own adult mainland?

someone was asking when adult LL homes were going to be made available? Instead of endlessly adding to belissaria, why not extend zindra by adding sims and making adult homes available. there would probably be tidal wave of people leaving beli for the zindra adult homes

its been mentioned in other threads, but despite being the bread and butter of LL’s income, they are highly embarassed by all the “perversity” to be found in Second Life. Not everyone want to live in places where a violation of the rules concerning adult content can have serious consequences but LL’s policy is “too bad for you”

why would you expect to terraform in the middle of town? as forsubdividing land, you are wrong, on my sim fenfarg, land cutting and combining is permitted. I have added to my holdings a couple of times and combined it into one parcel. I also had a 4096 which i sliced up and abandoned as needed to buy micro parcels for my networked advertising back in 2020. p.s. if you would stay on your own side of the road instead of careening all over the place, sim boundaries in the middle of the road wouldnt be a problem 😁
