I'm going the beginning of this topic and listening to the songs everyone posted.

One hour later:  This is going to take longer than I thought! Still, it's great to get a peek into other people's heads. I'm trying to keep your avatar name and picture in mind as I listen to each piece. Also realized that I'm going to have to do the playlists on a second pass, prolly next week.

... three and a half years later ... will I ever catch up? Haha.

Well, in that particular movie, yes they added their comedic touch.  The religious version of it is pretty close to the same though.

I don't think I am remotely religious. Even if I do sometimes catch myself singing "All Things Bright and Beautiful" (children's hymn from schooldays). It takes me to my happy place!

I'm not really in to religious versions of anything.

It's more a comedy version than a religious one actually.

Lovely, but I really prefer this version ...

(and for the non-religious, skip to 1:32)

I've only seen 5 of these and only one in the top 60. I agree that a lot of shows are missing.  The good thing is that now that I'm using streaming services instead of just the 4 networks, I can choose from a much wider variety and find some international gems.

    The only ones I've seen:

The Good Place, Lost, Stranger Things, Steven Universe, Avatar the Last Airbender

The Good Place was amazing, fast-paced, hilarious, very different.

    From the BBC.

It's possibly the worst Top 100 list ever compiled. Fleabag is a cute comedy, but Top 5 material?

A poll like this should have been open to the public, the results are seriously skewed when 'TV Experts' are voting on a limited selection of shows.

Where was Rome, and Spartacus? And I can understand shows like Banshee, The Boys, Invincible and Gangs of London are on the violent side, but they're highly recommended(by me!). Overall only 8 non-English shows were featured in this list, all from the EU as it appears Japanese and Korean TV does not exist.

I really didn't get Fleabag at all. Tried several times to watch that one, but nope, not for me. Or The Detectorists, although the music might have swung that one for some people.

Handmaid's Tale I would have put up there in the Top 20, but I'm with Cinnamon, I have only watched a few that are on that list.

And where is Still Game? Marvellously un-PC Scottish comedy, one of the BBC's best kept secrets - IMO!

And Better Things, that to me was darkly humorous. I've just finished binge watching the entire series again via iPlayer.

Don't let that idea to into your long-term memory, it's not true. I can and have cast shadows from flames. Light a candle outside on a sunny day and look at the shadow, you'll see the faint outline of the flickering flame. If it's sunny enough, the shadow of the flame might be as visible as the flame itself. If you light a propane torch outside on a sunny day, it's easier to adjust flame length by looking at the shadow than the flame.

My head hurts already o.O but that shadow is from the thermal/heat rather than the flame itself, and is much bigger as a result.
