"They could have just laid down some 2048 parcels in "unfinished territory" and used the existing Newbrookes or Logs or Chalets. The benefit would have been double LI."
Totally agree!!

Honestly, Kylie, if I compare SL costs to other things I love: coffee, books, music, etc. it does not look that costly. How much pleasure and friendship did you enjoy over those 15 years?
Even though I was a little surprised how much it added up to, I am forever grateful for all the years, experiences & friends I've met. SL was, and still is at times, a life saver for me ❤️

I was one who did not transition well to the new forum software years ago. I disappeared for a couple years when many of the people I interacted with disappeared.
Unpopular opinion:
In a way I miss the chaos of the wild west the same as I miss the absolute chaos of busy infohubs inworld. This was the first forum I ever posted in and my passion for anti-censorship was much stronger back then.
There was cruelty that escalated as time went by and everyone upped their games. I do understand that it needed to be reined in. I learned a LOT, though. I learned that I dang well better figure out how to post logically and not emotionally and that I needed be able to back up my opinions. There were a few master-baiters and many people fell into their traps over and over again. Cruelty does not mean their words weren't an art form, but many good people were run right out of the forums.
I learned.
There are many good personalities that I miss dearly and many of them have already been listed, but I miss some of the troublemakers and pot stirrers, as well. Drama isn't all bad and occasionally it can be fun. Some of the worst troublemakers were kind and supportive inworld and in other forum-like venues. That doesn't excuse the meanness they showed here, but firmed my belief that their forum personas were partly characters and role-playing.
The jury's still out on the new forum guidelines.
/me puts on her rose-colored glasses and slowly wanders back inworld to be a mermaid for the day.
Yes!! It was like a long running soap opera at times with some (Ugh, Pep for example.) Still, it was very entertaining sometimes.

SSP?
in Linden Homes
Can't agree @Prokofy Neva. We are all in here for a specific reason, whether it be sailing, rental RE, etc. Myself, it's landscaping & design. None of us want limitations.

Sorry to say this, but LL will do nothing. Your only recourse is to not buy from that store....

I don't believe the Premium Plus perk of being able to request being assigned an unclaimed parcel location was ever intended for the purpose the OP is describing: i.e the trading of a specific Linden Home parcel between two residents. Nor do I personally think that is something that we really want to consider as a desirable function of the system for a very good reason. The random nature of parcel assignment does something very important in regard to Linden Homes, it prevents them from becoming a commodity that can be bought and sold between residents.
The Premium Plus perk of being able to request an unclaimed parcel is a great benefit but there is no a guarantee that you will get that parcel, even if the person immediately releases it and the ticket is responded to in a timely manner (as the OP discovered). If there were an implied guarantee it now sets up the possibility that an exchange price could be agreed to beforehand, opening a back door for parcels to be bought and sold. I don't think that would be a good thing personally.Totally agree!!

Go to your dashboard > help > right hand side, you will see Premium Support > Contact Support > upper header, submit ticket > issue type, land & region
There might be an easier way to get there, but this is how I did it

Somehow I completely missed looking through Equal 10 offerings this last month. This is small and really cute and probably very useful in many of the more modern homes and "campers". No fridge and I am not sure what that thing in the top right is --- a speaker? Hmmm. Anyway for those in need of a tiny kitchen.
I think it's a vent hood...

I am not sure, but I think the next release will be the 2048 Linden homes, available ONLY to PP members.
Thanks...somehow I missed that reference

It will be interesting to see how this works out when a new theme is released....they will most likely be bombarded with requests, so will see how fast things happen in that case.

Why would you think so? I have gotten a refund in the past, and never had an issue. As long as it not frivolous and without merit, I have found them to be fair with this.
Me too, they have always worked with me & fairly over the years
