After I select "none", I have to go back and change again, to "Prim" or "Convex Hull". Then the number goes down.

Some times it "takes" first after selecting it several times.

I feel like working with magic. And sometimes the magic works, not always.

I selected edit before the lamp was linked to anything. I bought the plain white lamp too. I can see if I can resize it.

Is it important for you, to have a script to turn the lamp on and off? I saw you think the light is too bright. I deleted the script and edited the bulb so it gave off light I prefer.

EDIT: Am I derailing the thread? This became so many posts on saving Li. I can make a separate thread.

I personally don't care if the thread derails a little bit when you have such good info to share.  But if you think it would be better in a thread of it's own, I don't mind that either. I learn so much from you!

It went just that way. TP'd in. Said hello in local. No one said anything. 10 minutes later I kidded around due to the quiet and got the the female part of ownership yelling at me. I didn't engage other than stating it was kidding and left the club. I didn't realize I was banned till there was a live singer that I enjoy who was performing there and tried to TP in to see her.

There is nothing more. She may have been in a bad mood that day. Sometimes we snap at the little things when we are having an off day. I have no reason to lie about this nor is it my way nor does it make any sense to.
Maybe something happened at the club before I got there and why people were quiet. Just sharing my experience as to why I feel SL is less social. You are another example due to this as calling someone a liar due to your friendship with the ownership says that much.

People tend to extrapolate their experiences to conclusions about the world around us. Generally speaking, those conclusions are generally wrong. You were banned from a club where you insulted the owner.  To conclude that SL has become less social based on this experience is not necessarily accurate.  You state your conclusion here in the forum and are called out on it.  You conclude that this is further proof that SL has become less social.  Wrong again.

...Not everything is to everyone's liking. That's... ok, folks. It would be a boring world otherwise. I like peanut butter, bacon & mayo on white bread toast sandwiches (sourdough if I'm feeling fancy). Huh, imagine that, some people think that sounds awful. (You really should try it though, they are delish!) I've heard some heathens like peanut butter and banana sandwiches. OMG. What is wrong with you? But the thing is, there's room for both, no harm done. I would offer you a bite of my sammich, you could refuse, and we'd be cool....

    peeve: I can't eat peanutbutter.

Do you want it to suck or blow?

Side hookup for suck. Top hookup for blow.

Don't forget to plug it in before trying to turn it on. 🤭 💨

    🤐

I learned about suck and blow via trial and error.  The thing that confused me was the wet filter - no picture and not found in the box. Finally figured out it was already on the machine and under the dry one.  After searching and talking to my brother I finally figured it out.  Water is mostly gone and I'm exhausted.

Well, not only the coulours of my land are changing, but the weather also.🙂 By the way, this was the weather in the Netherlands in RL the past few days after a long hot and dry summer. Now finally a week with a lot of rain. And thunder and lightning!

When the lightning strikes, Dutch estate

I love the way the curtains emphasize the violence of the storm.

You may have to disable it long enough to install and then whitelist the viewer, but I doubt it.  You should be able to tell Defender to allow it as soon as the install starts.

yes, that worked.  I had to scroll to get to the run anyway button because of the way I have my screen resolution. My vision is another peeve, or rather my pish poor vision.

This might sound a little insane, but the truth is there have been a higher than usual number of DDoS attacks in the past week, so it doesn't surprise me. It really sucks when there are 2 opposing factions at war on the internet because they never stop to think that what they are doing is affecting people they aren't even their target(s).

Could be a coincidence but the new school year just began.  Perhaps the kids are comparing notes on what kind of mischief and havoc they can create...

See where it says Normal Release with an exe file name? That's the install file.

Yes, It finally clicked for me that that was the thing to click.  I had tried clicking it when I first got to the page but for some reason it bombed out the first time.  This time I right clicked and said do it in a new window and it worked.  I was afraid to click those other links because I'm not that good at installing components from scratch and I had high hopes for an .exe file kind of solution.

REad first then download link is at the bottom.

    https://niranv-sl.blogspot.com/p/blog-page.html

I've been to this page before.   In fact, over and over again today I've been there.  And TBH, I didn't read any of those things and went down to the bottom and hit the download link.  It took me to a place that looks like this

    image.thumb.png.355d922927b164f9cfeb37d779a1e348.png

and left me there bewildered.  Still no download.  So I went back to the page you referred me to and I'm halfway through Niran's Rants about why she sets up Black Dragon the way it is (which I still haven't seen because I can't figure out how to download it) and still no clues here about how to download.

  10. Peeved.

Even though I'm not very good a taking pictures, I suddenly decided that I wanted to try this Black Dragon I've heard so much about.  So I googled black dragon and came to a website and clicked the link that I thought was taking me to a downloads page and landed in some review black hole where no matter what link you click to download it takes you to a page full of choices none of which result in a download.

So I came here and found a post called

that's been idle for since January of last year, so evidently I'm doing something wrong or else nobody else has had any problems getting the darn thing for almost 2 years besides me.  And nobody has replied yet dang it!

  11. yeah, I know, it's a necro post, but the topic fits sort of.  So anyway, I decided I wanted to try Black Dragon and I'm stumped already and I haven't even downloaded it yet, never mind try to install it.  I'm at a page that looks like this:

    image.thumb.png.de3b330b0ee8b36c474419b2cde7ac1e.png

and I don't know what I'm supposed to do here.  Is there some sort of Black Dragon for Dummies site that will walk me through how to download and install?

  12. I think that the disproportionate body issues are a result of people's desire to improve on real life.  Pin heads are focused on having really big strong arms so they  turn up the sliders for that and the result is their heads look too small.  Everyone who wishes they had longer legs push the leg sliders and so the legs don't fit the bodies very well, often times resulting in the tyrannosaur arms.  Breasts that defy gravity are not uncommon. We see what we want to see and we tend to focus on features instead of the whole person and the results are not always realistic.

    diabetes

The real preventative is a good immunity building diet  really..

If more people took their diets serious, we wouldn't have a lot of the diseases that we have today..

I'm not talking about weight loss kind of diets, because so many hear diet and think weight loss diet first thing..

Just eating healthy and paying attention to what goes in our bodies..

And the thing is, it doesn't take very long at all to start to feel the benefits of a good healthy diet.. I mean not even a week before you start feeling better and more energy and joints with less inflammation and all kinds of really good things..

I have a veggie fruit smoothy every day and since I been doing that.. Lets just say, they are the best thing since the invention of iced water.. hehehe

I have gotten so many people at my old job hooked on things that are good for them and they thank me all the time..

People with borderline diabetes being able to reverse it rather than it going the other way..

We are born with cancer cells and the sooner we build to put up a good fight the better..

I hope this didn't come off as preachy because it's not meant to be.. I just get kind of passionate when it comes to how important and how good for us good diets are.. They can turn things around  really quick.. I just feel it's important to say it when I can..

I do agree that a healthy diet is good for you.  But what constitutes a healthy diet?  I used to think that it was really important to consume a variety of fruits and vegetables, nuts and whole grains.  Then I learned that for me, that particular choice in diet was very bad.  I am sensitive to oxalates which are found in all plants.  For me a healthy diet is a low oxalate diet.  There are a bunch of plants that are poison to me, but nutritious and healthy for most people, like spinach, carrots, tomatoes, nuts, potatoes, chocolate, avocados, most spices and black tea. I had to radically change the way I eat. Your smoothies would probably put me in the hospital.

I think it was the Science Fiction author Spider Robinson who wrote that in every civilization - every planet, galaxy, etc. is a drink with the name "Whiskey and Sour" - with different spellings but the same gist: "Oisghian Saur", "Weeskyan Soir", etc.

Doug Adams said that About gin & tonics in one of Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy books.

Reread your post -- are you trying to say you think I am the OP, or that I'm overstepping my assumptions as to what child avatars experience?

    ....

I'm not accusing you of anything, merely observing that you are derailing the OP's intentions in order to grandstand about child avatars rights.  Child avatars don't have rights.  The adults behind the child avatars do but their rights do not go beyond anyone else's.  They can't force others to RP with them any more than anyone else can.
