Combat != RP Hell, I think there's only a single parcel in a single sim in the 40+ sims big gulf that caters to RP folk and that's the coast guard and they don't even do combat. Also, putting it in the game forum which currently contains: Skill gaming, Experiences, hunting for l$ etc etc. Would it be so much to ask to make a subforum for skill gaming, for questions about LL run games/experiences like Glytches, Puzzles and PvE/PvP combat? There is no net loss, it doesn't clog up the main page either. This is what sub forums look like:

It is rather disappointing to see people try and derail this conversation as to why further subcategories are welcome by acting like literal children and going "muh pies xd". Also, correct me if I'm wrong but parx is right about it being one of the oldest communities. I still have a map of SL in 2003 which shows Jessie and the outlands. Considering LL made several sims and an entire combat system does show that focus, research and development resources were spent for the specific reason of combat. Oh yeah, did you know that LL has a project with several VICE community members that has resulted in a 40+ sim combat zone for VICE and other metered combat?

I think the question is rather, why aren't there more use of subforums? Arguably it would be better to subcategorize the forums even further to allow things like Combat to have a dedicated spot. It's an extremely easy thing to do. The actual act of making a subforum would take less than five minutes. I think the discussion here is mostly moot since this might fit on the jira/web user groups more.

I am no longer involved with the SLMC but I wasn't put in charge of anything. I just offered to help people to. References to new jessie have been removed a few days ago since I heard it passed. I only bother with pages related to VICE and LSL scripting, if you want anything edited you can ask support for edit rights. If you want minor edits or you have some concrete text to replace feel free to ping me as well. As for New Jessie's big mentions is that LLCS is the only combat system built in and New Jessie was functioning as a hub for all other LLCS/SLMC sims to get people into the combat community as a entirely non-commercial joint effort neutral sim. The wiki was indeed closed completely off due to massive spam for all kinds of scam websites and not for any kind of edit war.
