    They look to be catering only to an audience that is so extreme in its viewpoint that it is plausible it may work in some markets (until someone gets sick).  Then it is gonna be the next news item on Twitter, with some 40s-ish year old grown-up saying, "Oh, if only I'd known then (and chose to turn my back on)...

    How many chalets is enough?

    Just adding that I cannot speak to the Linden Homes.  Since I went premie, I've purchased a mainland parcel for a very reasonable sum.  For many years I had more than the premie max+tier, but at this point I find the premie 1024 in a reasonable area and several rentals for purposes other than my "home"  works better for me.  I've never really qualified for a Linden Home therefore.  This has enabled me to pick my own house (after house after house lol) at Marketplace or inworld, and been absolutely thrilled, until my next "whim" where a different home layout or theme is my new mood of the day. 

    So of course I don't know what its like to be on a list and waiting for a house or my "happy" delayed in that sense.  And I don't really at this point in time know how clear the advertisements are to new Premiums on the fact that premies can (instead of getting a Linden home) find, buy, a parcel and plant the house of their dreams on it, and redecorate forever and ever.  But I find myself asking if it is possible.

    I do remember it was a pain-pain-painnnnnn back in the day to use the "Search" thing to find/tp/shop for parcels of X size. Please oh please tell me that is fixed...

    Party of one, please.  I am the tactician of my party, and my personhood.  My life does not lead me, I lead my life.  What I own be it stuff or knowledge, I control, ie use, access, exclusion. I choose how to direct and if and how to share that value.  I am the one who knows more about me than anyone else, like it, accept it, or not.  Some days are bigger jobs than others managing all thahhht.  :)

    K so it looks like you joined just today.

    Welcome!

    I generally look at avatar profiles, so it might help you if you develop your avi profile.  Provide info on the type of activities and skills your avi personal wants to or is prepared use.  Learn and understand which items in your profile show, and where they show (different viewers, web page, etc.).  And in your settings to whom they show (those logged in only, all public, etc.).  List the "skills" you want to be hired for clearly.  Lots of opportunity to advertise oneself there, and it follows you everywhere you go.    

    Speaking for myself, I hire when the profile shows something reliable, mature, self-developed... which skillset mentioned might somehow relate to what I need.
