Ah, OK, so there's no real reason for LL and the moles to have to consult any of them, then.
there can be, neither you or i, know if there are agreedments in between.

I'm confused. Why would LL and the moles be consulting you about their plans? Sincere question.
The SLRR is a diferent kind of animal. Yes, is technically linden, but I beleive there is an user group somewhat taking care of it since the lindens (or moles) don't really touch it as much as the rail community would like.

This makes me wonder how the idea of simply taking the actual home buildings on the old Premium continents gets swapped for newer mesh versons... would that catch up? No changes to the parcel sizes or locations, no terraforming, maybe a bit of swapping on the landscaping. How would that sound? Not many people really cares for roads and paths and would likely be happy with a newer home on the same cramped space as the old ones.

SSP?

We don't discount ideas out of hand. The simple fact is most of them are ones we already explored months ago and came to the conclusion the benefits were negligible and there were many costs and factors people were not considering.
And negative comments about incorrect assumptions are about as helpful as https://gyazo.com/140c60ee89bcc8c6910f7436a31d156fMy friend Abnor, nice to see you again.

Not untill they rename the Wuffel Hoose to Serpente's BnB
Tho... i am starting to think is some sort of train station or transport hub... with river boat or something like that. Bellisseria has evolved enough to deserve its own Welcome area... that might be it.

I think some of you knows well that once people starts talking about me, threads vanish or gets locked. Lets stop that there before is too late. This is a pretty good thread.

SSP?
in Linden Homes
Once upon a time, in a far far away world called Bellisseria, this man asked some questions to Patch and the Moles, and got less than ideal responses (Thanks to Naughty that was the only one that took it seriously). They know how that ended up.
I get more honest responces just throwing things out there.... and it's far more interesting.

Anyone else notice these camels have no toes?
Moles don't know what camel toes are, or they do know and were sensored 😂

This looked familiar, so I looked through my archives, and the building appears to be a reproduction of the Spangle Railroad Station http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Spangle/137/230/31 built by Garden Mole. The original does not have camels, but I believe there is a dead parrot in the area somewhere. Could the Moles be planning a Railroad History exhibit?
Considering there is a nuke next to it, I will say is some form of joke.
I can try to decode it...
- Old SLRR station all broken up = remains of something once was important.
- Camels = deserted, abandoned, probably talking about how the SLRR is a bit forgotten (either by the public, or by the LDPW since they havent updated it in many years).
- Little lamb = little lamb
- Nuke = They want to nuke something. Either me, or just the SLRR (most likely).
*yeah i am joking, but is clearly not a serious build tho, likely temp.

Also, I really doubt that the raised border terraforming is the location's final form. They literally just dropped it there yesterday.
Give 'em a minute or two to make some adjustments and work their Mole magic before lobbing the cookie-cutter allegations!
To be fair they already cookie-cut two regions (SSPE217 & SSPE233 being same as "Princess Caroline" & "Templeby" regions).

Correction, to the south will be another copied and pasted region, that will fit like a glove, but that region too will see the same issue.
Sadly that is result of cookie cutting, which, the LDPW has been so against and proud to say they don't do it. We can see these regions and others on the SSP that are waiting for their turn, are clearly copy pasted finished regions.
In one side I dont like this since hurts the whole idea of making all-original areas on the continent, but at the same time i can respect is not really done in an abusive way. Couple sims every now and then is not the same as copy pasting an entire map or chunk of a map, and it does helps speeding things up a bit, which is clearly the priority at this time.

Those looks like trailers, and the hovering text is probably wrong? maybe is a message that appears if parcel isnt 1024, and surely enough, campers are not 1024, they are half.
-
75% Traditional homes and houseboats, 15% camper trailers, 3% train, 7% whatever else is left?
Sounds like we need more continents to make that many more themes happen.

There's not enough traffic for "main roads". I'd like to see a few through routes on existing roads marked, maybe with a solid yellow line, so you could drive or bicycle without reaching at dead ends. Some of those might become tram lines.
By the way, is the ferry to the fairgrounds island only running during events, or what? I went there and waited at the ferry sign, but nothing showed up.
There is not enough traffic anywhere in Second Life. Mayor roads like avenues and highways are just part of the themeing. If you mean in a more technical way, Bellisseria has enough homes to have avenues and mayor arteries, if we take United States as a model for calculating vehicles per household.
I think i heard someone saying that there was some work being done with the ferry today.

They still could add one, here's an ages old solution.
If we go with that idea of placing a system on areas that already been developed, just to not limit the system to the small area that is currently available, i can totally vote for a tram.
However, i don't see fully appropiate to place a tram on regular residential roads. If there were main roads/avenues around bellisseria, just like bay city has one, it would be more fitting.
-
I am a bit worried that comparing the SSP continent with Bellisseria, there is just around 30% of undeveloped areas left to work out a train. I find hard to believe they would lay any kind of tracks on already developed regions. This means, the train if is going to happen on the continent we know, it would only cover a small portion of it, and every day they build on more regions, the plausible space a train could occupy, is reduced.

Bellisseria Choo-Choo Train Thread

That sounds like a lot to ask but atleast a contour shadow of someone would do.. have the cab dark enough.
Anyway, i don't think a non-open to public train is a good idea. I will strongly suggest an open source system that can be used by others as well, but have an automatic train running as well, giving enough time interval in between for other kind of traffic, or perhaps a slightly more complex system that would actually stop or signal trains if a section of track is occupied.
