  1. Second Life is on Pinterest. You can add them as a friend. And it could be the file type of the photo that you are trying to Pin.
  2. Well, we put up a wall with a "decorative" picture of a very voluptuous and naked friend. I hope they don't get to annoyed by it and move? *smirks* Yes, took the passive aggressive path for the time being. Unfortunately, I'm never on when they are and it would be so convenient of them to "lose" a note card or message I leave. Thanks for all the great input and advice. I'm glad I'm not alone feeling this way. And don't get me started on RL instances...
  3. What I'm saying is that, rather than come here and complain, take matters into your own hands. I wish you all the best of luck ...Dres Um, I thought a forum was a place you could vent your frustrations. I'm not asking for suggestions. I just wanted to know if I was alone in the fact that I think it's inconsiderate and rude for someone to build a platfrom right up against yours when there is plenty of space to place it.
  4. Well they are right up next to us. If it was off a bit I wouldn't be as bugged.
  5. Does anyone else find it extremely rude and annoying when someone builds a platform right next to yours in the sky? There is 4000 m of space to choose from!!!
  6. Thanks everyone. I think this is a feature that won't benefit me in the future. I check my impressions and wasn't impressed. I should be able to at least see my feature once with out having to refresh or stalk it, especially when I see the same ones everytime I log into marketplace, but not mine.
  7. I paid the $899 L to feature my bed for a week. I wanted to try it out and I have yet seen it featured. Did I miss something?
  8. I tried looking for you in-world but your name wasn't showing for me. IM me anytime and I would be happy to tell you how weddings happen in SL. Very similar to how you would have one in rl but with added perks!
  9. I am looking for someone to assist me with a wedding on February 11th from 6-10 pm SLT. Preferences: Experience working Weddings in SL or Hosting Basic Build Knowledge (able to help move pose balls or objects) Experience as a DJ or Photographer (not required but could be helpful day of the wedding) Great customer service skills Reliable Outgoing Able to handle stress and be a quick thinker (there is always a glitch but we don't let the bride ever see that) Starting pay will begin at $1000 L for the evening and may go up depending on experience and may lead to an opportunity to become a full-time consultant. Will train the right candidate. Contact Pac Lorefield or Marla Max in-world or leave a message here.
  10. Thank you for your response! I do have Qavimator. I have joined a few groups that have classes my problem is that I am no available for the limited times that are posted hence why I would prefer a private tutor to fit around my schedule. But I will look into a few other groups to see if it works.
  11. I'm curious how your Event Coordinator is to make tips if you will have Hosts. And what happens if there are no tips that week? That is a pretty small pay for your expectations. I'm sure you will find someone to work for you but don't expect professional service unless they are in it for just the fun of it.
  12. Ok, I only had to read maybe 5 pages to see the same arguments being posted over and over by the same people. Making linden here is like playing nickel poker at a casino. You never know where the cards are going to lay. But unlike a slot machine, we can actually increase the odds of success with marketing smarts, consistency, and innovation. Freebies will not be the end of your business. I am one of a hundred wedding businesses in SL. I am constantly up and down with business and have to be smart enough to find other ways to survive and I been doing well. Not once have I had to pull rl funds into my SL. To me, that is the success of my business. People can create for free or for linden. I have never just bought something because it is free. I support a lot of fellow creators because I appreciate their customer service and product. Once and a while, I do enjoy the thrill of finding a cool freebie. I guess the point I'm getting to is that you can sit and stew or go and do. Take some initiative and innovate or start discovering ways to make things better all around.
  13. I am trying to break into animation and need help figuring out how to save them on my computer. Apparently I cannot save .bvh files on my computer and need someone to explain to me how to get this set up. I am looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years in SL and can show me some of their work to prove their knowledge base. I may consider someone with less time in SL, if they can prove to me they are knowledgeable in this area. Voice is preferred but not required. I am hoping this may take us meeting once or twice and perhaps a few follow up IMs. I will compensate for your time. Please IM me in-world or leave a message for me here!
  14. We are extending the contest til February 1st! Don't be shy! It's a great time of year to marry your best friend!
  15. That's a little unfair Rick, as I tried to contact you and your fiance on several occassions and never had word back. Please do not group our business into this category when you didn't even give us a chance to discuss what it was you needed for your wedding. Pac Lorefield Owner, The Hitchin' Post
  16. We are looking for our first couple of the year to wed at our new location! From Jan. 1st to the 15th we will be running a contest to find our first couple of 2012. 17. We have a shop availalbe next to ours we would like to rent out. We are asking for $500 L for 100 prim. More prim can be negotiated. We are a wedding business and would like for a compatible business such as clothing (dresses, tuxes, etc), photography, or something else along those lines. Depending on what you have to offer, we can also include you in our Collections that we offer couples who come to us. Before renting the shop, we would like to meet potential occupants. Please contact Pac Lorefield In-World by IM or notecard to arrange a meeting. Pay for a month up front and receive the first week of your 2nd month for free.

I was looking for a Picture Pose theme and this was too easy. I'm done with my turn on night shifts and finished with my SL 'work' that buried me the last few weeks so I'm free to play. Hopefully there will be plenty of inspiration this week) Enjoy getting to know all the little ones running out and about! Lanas Be careful some might see that as an advertisement.

  20. I hope folks don't think I'm trying to discriminate against size here. I was just truly curious. I've been here 3 years and this is the first time I'm noticing the differences. I think as a builder I worry about proportion when it comes to building and poses. I agree as well that you just make yourself how you want and are comfortable with! Thanks for everyone's input!
  21. Well I don't really care too much but I've seen a lot of friends going short as well b/c they feel like they are giants lately. I wasn't trying to be a smart ass with the question. I was serious about it. I may have already figured out my answer any ways - as I start to try on mesh outfits.
  22. Has anyone else noticed that avatars, especially females, are starting to get shorter and shorter? Is there a weird new phase I didn't hear about?
  23. My best friend in the world, Marla. We have been through a lot...tears, jeers, and laughter. We are our own comedic act! Definitely attribute this woman to helping me find myself in SL!
  24. I believe that's what the "Favorite" does. You are able to put items you would like to purchase in a favorites section. It's under the purchasing section.
