[Why are so many HUDs so large?]

I had the hairstyle and outfit set. The huds were just for makeup/coloring. 😹 I leave my body hud on in case I decide to swap skin tones if the makeup isn’t working as I need it, or to adjust the shine if it needs to be more/less according to the highlighter. Otherwise my body often looks flat in photos. Can I dodge in PS? Yes, but with a few hud clicks, I don’t always need to. I have 2 big monitors though.

For some, I’m sure not a bit! For me, yes! It’s a RL indulgence (in some fashions it’s part of the package) so I have taken delight in playing with SL manicures since the ‘manicure gloves’ days. Elaborate lengths and tiny intricate attachments? Yes please!

One of my little corners of New Babbage. Steampunk Retail/Industrial district. The street is not quite set yet so the layout/purpose/furnishings aren’t finalized. But I like this layout for now!
2020 project is going to be fun! Edit: yep, there’s living space too. Some overt, some co-op, some semi-controlled squatting

Has anyone asked why? I’m not complaining, I’m looking at the future of social networks and 3rd party websites. I’ve automated most of my social sharing already and decided to make the move to get my web content moved onto my own dotcoms in 2020 and then share everything from those more secure home base repositories...so I will not feel this loss but I’m wondering how many others will?

I’m feeling better today. I thought some things over and decided on a simple course of small actions to take in a couple of areas,  to just focus on those for a bit. It’s hardest to take the first steps to getting un-stuck. Posting about it helped. 🦋

I think there will always be a few people who will (ab)use them in a belligerent way, like everything else. Both pushing for and arguing against in subtle and not so subtle ways. It’s difficult, people have lots of feelings about how they are portrayed, perceived, received, rejected.

The Merry Christmas example is one of trying to force people into referring to the winter holidays, something that is not inherently personal, in only your one way, ...but personal pronouns are specifically about and refer to the self and so I think exercising some jurisdiction over what you are called or how you are referred to as a person to better reflect who you are is OK. People are often referred to by a pronoun within their hearing. especially younger people and students. It has an impact.

I collect ball jointed dolls with interchangeable parts and I write character stories for a few. I have one character that I started in 2009 who is just represented by a faceplate that can be put on a male or female doll and they frequently body-snatch...I have always used the Z pronouns because it just ’fits’. So while I fortunately don’t need to (re)define it personally, I also see the topic as an important one for exploring character narratives too. Funny thing that in 2009, some fellow doll hobby people found the pronouns in my story quite pretentious. Now, not so much.

Granted but several numbers or letters were transposed, kicking the whole thing back and deadlines missed, resubmission is required, complete with renewed wait times.

That boat sailed in 1960 though?  I was annoyed by it until I learned the sort order because it confused me.
Once I learned, I was OK. It made sense again. 
But my response to things that annoy me is usually ‘how can I minimize the impact on myself’. I have more success with that.

It doesn’t seem to match the sharpness of detail of everything else. I’ve never seen sleeves wrinkle quite that way. The curve where the sleeve joins the armhole seems unusual. I like your photo, but I do not care for the shirt.
