No wonder my sales have declined! Im having the very same problem *sigh*

Haave you noticed a decline in your sales since yesterday (August 8, 2011) ?

Some merchants receive a lot of sales on a daily basis (especially freebies) and it is VERY easy for the IM message to be lost in all the sale notification emails. So for them note card seems like the most efficient method of having customer complaints delivered to them. Also from their perspective it would be better to wait until they log on to get the note card than have the message lost in the barrage of sales emails which could have dire consequences if the customer believes that the merchant is ignoring him/her when he was really just unaware of its existence. 

I agree totally, the media is also doing a pretty good job at arousing fear in people. We can only hope that this fear will be short lived and we will be able to swerve away from this seemingly inevitable financial disaster *sighs* 

How do you think that the expected economic meltdown will afftect your profits? (God forbid that it is not suppressed before it’s too late) 

Where do I find film?

The thing is iv noticed thatthe textures on Viewer 2 rezz a whole lot faster than those rezsed on the older viewers and I was wondering what setting is enabled in viewer two to expedite the loading process that is disabled in viewer 1. Any advice?

What setting must I change to make my textures and sculpties load faster? Please help, it would be much appreciated :)

Thing is I am unable to bring up my edit menu, I do not see its button anywhere on my screen. Any advice?

Thank you. Could you tell me how I can bring up the edit menu to check the amount of prims that these Meshes take up by clicking on them in edit mode? I have noticed that whenever I right click on them (while not in edit mode) the entire structure is highlighted, does that mean that the entire structure (say a building for example) takes up only one prims or is it more likely that the structure is just linked together? 

Could someone tell me how I can veiw a mesh sandbox inworld? Thanks :)

Hello there, I have recently replaced my old graphics card with a Radeon HD 4650 graphics card and I am unable to enable shadows (boxes beside the names remain grey). Could someone explain to me why this is so?

Hello there, I’m having a problem that I never had a few days ago. Whenever I log onto second life everything works fine for a few seconds before my computer screen becomes white and freezes. After this happens I have to restart my computer and try again but I always receive similar results no matter how many times I try. Can anyone offer any advice on how this rather frustrating problem can be resolved?

Hello there, I’ve been having major issues with the viewer 2 (two) shadow options that I never had a few days prior to now. Whenever I enable the option most objects around me become purplish and slightly transparent, my avatar's texture also becomes very grainy and discolored. Please note however that this option was working PERFECTLY FINE a few days ago and the fact that I am able to enable the option makes it obvious that my computer can in fact handle the weight placed on it by the shadows, otherwise it would have been disabled by default. Does anyone else suffer from similar problems? Does anyone have a resolution? Please oblige and thanks in advance :)

Thank you for your response. Approximately how long would it take for me to go through the whole learning process considering that I have no prior knowledge with scripting but I am however a rather fast learner. Could you give me a round estimate?

Could someone please tell me the best method of learning how to write scripts in the quickest time possible? Your answers would be much appreciated. The reason why I would like to go through the learning process as expeditiously as possible is because I can only devote a small fraction of my time to secondlife due to my rather time consuming career and busy real life schedule. You must note however that the homes (with the malfunctioning door script) have been distributed to persons who own various SIM types with their own respective server setting/code so there is no way for me to tell whether the buyer's server code is one that would cause the script to function or malfunction. It’s a bit of a bet that I’m reluctant to make. 

The "smooth" rotating door script that I placed in my creations was working perfectly fine a couple days ago but all of a sudden it’s starting to malfunction and I have received a great deal of complaints from my customers on this issue. Could someone please explain to me why the door script has stopped working properly all of a sudden? Is the problem temporary or permanent and is there anyone else facing problems with scripts that have stopped working the way they should over the past few days leading up to now? 

I'm just hoping that this BANG that you speak of is not one that will cause the marketplace to implode (nostalgia anyone?). It’s also rather unethical for Linden Lab to trick us into believing that they have taken a new approach to enhance the communication between themselves and the SLM place users while knowing very well that they were merely acting as competent workers to fool us into seeing an illusion of hope. It’s about time that they start making the rare ethical changes that the apply permanent while at the same time making their more frequently made bad decisions/implementations temporary if not nonexistent.
