After watching a new video regarding a new word being introduced to the web, "Vesperance" I was once again interested in goofing around with AI, and image generation.
I had an image created in Microsoft's copilot, which shows a lady at a campfire
Using the same picture I had in my previous posts to generate a new face for the pose which is below.
Below was the first result, which I liked. I accidently left the template to watercolor though. I only used pose for the controlnet.
I removed the watercolor template, used canny and pose for the control net, bumping up the strength of pose to 0.9 and the below was the result.
I really like InstantID and look forward to getting my computer so I can run it locally. For those interested in using it, you can play around with it at this site:
https://huggingface.co/spaces/InstantX/InstantID
It is really easy to play around with, and I would love to see some of the results everyone comes up with. The main drawback of this site is, that you only get a few tries and it may take a while as it is free and other people are using the service. For free image generation online, I just use bing.com, go into chat and prompt what I want drawn, it is also free.

The way internet culture is, I would not be surprised if the label simp has become fashionable. It could be used in a way to show one's loyalty to whatever passion they have, such as people might simp for comics, or computers, who knows? It could have turned into a label people now pride themselves with. It is amazing how much power that word held over others, perhaps it has lost some of its muster and people just laugh it off now because that is how things usually play out, right?
I think it is funny that they included it. A last name of simp doesn't really explain what the person is a simp for though. The word could mean just about anything, some definitions of it include just common manners.

Most likely, we will see changes to our inventory management regardless due to the mobile viewer, a directory based user interface does not perform very well on mobile devices. This would be one of the reasons I would hazard a guess as to why you can not change outfits in the mobile viewer yet, because they are probably still working on it.
What we may get is anyone's guess, but *if* such changes were made for the mobile viewer, I think they would likely also port those changes over to the official desktop viewer. I do hope, they leave us with our directory based interface as well, because I enjoy using it and I know a lot of people on the forums prefer it to a picture based interface.
It is almost a given that to appeal to gen z and gen alpha, the directory based system is antiquated anyway, from several articles that I have read, a lot of them are unfamiliar with it and have grown in a world of icons when using computers. Put a lot of them in front of a directory based interface and they will be unfamiliar with it. If we were evil, and I know some of us are, we could make it all command line driven 😈
Anyway: Pet peeve of the day, I don't have one, I guess myself. I am going to regret involving myself with the topic, but find it interesting regardless. Please be gentle with me, mah legs hurt from going on a power walk.

I have yet to figure out the fascination with mirrors. They are an interesting new tech in SL... but in a world where my makeup and hair remain perfect, what's the point?
Mirrors are fascinating, have you ever just stared at your reflection without shifting your eyes. If you stare yourself in the eyes long enough, things start to get funky, distortions start to occur, you will see someone else staring back at you which is unrecognizable. For me, they are just trippy, they distort reality, and in a world that is already distorted, contained in another world distorted, a reflection that is an additional distortion is just really symbolic, it induces a sense of being lost.
I like feeling lost in virtual worlds, and in a way mirrors capture that feeling. Another world, within the virtual world, and all of that craziness. They really do not do anything functional, they just add an element that is entirely pointless but fun.
Aaaaand.. this is what happens when one has too much time on their hands 🤣

I was not aware that there was an actual forum cartel, I did do a search and found they actually have land, I think.. at least there is a place called the forum cartel.
https://secondlife.com/destination/the-forum-cartel-hangout
There was one picture you posted @Scylla Rhiadra a little while back, of various images of posts of the forum and your avatar standing among them, some were scattered on the ground, I thought it looked great. Then Maddy came along with a flame thrower and burned it all to a crisp 🤣 If there were an exhibit, I think that would be an amazing one.

This sounds like great news to me. I saw it not long after it had been published and passed it to a manager of a community I'm in. Thoughts, anyone?
I was wondering what all of those platforms were for when I went there and they had been empty.
I think it is pretty cool, I look forward to seeing more exhibits in the future. One thing I would be interested in is more games, such as shooters, rpgs, and so on. I hope more groups take advantage of it, and we see the place fill out with various different things people do in SL.
I'm not really interested in belonging to communities in any significant way, but still it is fun to explore what people have built and in some cases where their hobbies align with mine it can be fun to occasionally take part in such things as fishing, zombie hunting and so on.

/me contemplates
I have an evil desire in me to create a bot that randomly compliments people, using image to text to decipher what is visible in the location and based upon the outfit they are wearing.
Mwahahahahaha!
"My goodness, those are lovely shoes!"
It could even do poems.
You are the shoes that I cherish
The ones that are so neat
You are the shoes that I relish
The ones that are so sweetYou are the shoes that spark joy
The ones that make me happy
You are the shoes that I enjoy
The ones that are so snappyYou are the shoes that I praise
The ones that I applaud
You are the shoes that I amaze
The ones that I laudNo one in SL would be safe from my eval!
Peeve: I lack the computer to make it so.

Using the above picture in my previous post as the control image, but now using Dezgo, unfortunately mah eyes got crossed.
Lets see if I can fix that
..
I liked my face better in the first result.
Now trying out other features on the site, such as changing my hair color, removing the background, and inpainting myself in a different environment.
meh..
Yay a buffet!

Philosophy while I have a headache.
What is love? Is love a chemical, and what experiences love, does love experience itself, or is it experienced by something else?
Do bots experience love?

The purists, of course, will stick with drawing on cave walls and forgo any aid from their computers. None of that cheating with photoshop either 😜
(generated through AI, I ain't got no time for finding a cave and I most certainly am not an artist)
I wonder if this image will end up on google search sometime in the future.

I really enjoy my animare pose HUD, the black dragon viewer is superior for posing IMO, but for on the go when I just want to quickly create a pose for a screenshot, I can add it and create a pose relatively quickly. It is like a toy, I guess, because it is all for entertainment. I was trying to think of some wearable gadget, like a spellbook or something, but I don't really use any frequently.
Of course, vehicles are my favorite, I don't have just one I favor over the others though. I really like GCS, and fighting zombies or fantasy themed monsters as well.

f you got to choose how vehicle auto-return worked, how would you change vehicle auto-return? How far away would you like to be able to walk from your vehicle, before the sim considered the vehicle abandoned? Other thoughts?
A personal valet, that would arrive, drive off with your vehicle and via a menu option in the viewer with a timer on it of say five to ten minutes so that people can not grief others with multiple requests, which returns your vehicle to the last location it was in 😋 As for boats, whenever I want to go fishing, swimming, or exploring, I usually just use Radegast with an alt to keep the boat rezzed. This is also great for taking pictures, if I want to get a shot with me on the shore with my boat in the distance, or when I catch a fish from the deck.
Make it so LL!
I want to name my valet too!

Are we one / both of the human couple in that movie, or are we the alien?
It goes deep Love, while exploring tunnels under Bellisseria I stumbled into one of the mole's head quarters, they plan on having us raise baby moles. Bellisseria was all a lie, a scenic place to raise their baby moles! I think Magellan had stumbled upon it as well, they were following him on social media.. I haven't heard from him since.
If you find a package with a baby mole at your doorstep, you're doomed! They plan on taking over the whole of Second Earth, the demographics won't matter, it will be all moles!

I think it would, I would use one for SL but I worry that it might trigger a voodoo security system based upon recycled IPs used by griefers, and I would find myself banned from a lot of parcels.
