I know it's a long shot and that most heels won't fit him but if there's anyone who has gotten it to work with Jake, or have any suggestions, I'm looking for high heels for Jake. I already have Cubura heels and a few other high boots I've gotten to sort of work but nothing shorter... I'm also using baked on mesh so when I use shoe shapes it turns my feet black for some reason so it's kind of troublesome if I try to use any kind of heels with open feet. Any help? edit in addition to the suggestions in this thread, is there any way I could use slink feet? i don't know ANYTHING about that but I saw it has an option for 'slink fit' in the body HUD. would I then be able to wear high heel if I used those feet?

I am using a laptop, because I don't currently have the space for a desktop though I do plan to get one, the price just isn't on the table right now. I still don't even know how to set one up. I mostly sit on my bed and lay down half the time because I actually can't stay sitting up for long... I would still like to keep my laptop for other purposes (I can't move a desktop with me if I plan to stay somewhere else for a night) so I'd like to keep my graphics card still working. That's why I was worried second life may be killing it, but I still want to play second life... It doesn't bother me if it doesn't look great. I have my stuff on medium and don't have advanced lighting on, and my draw distance is fairly low. 65 I think. But the one I do have my eye on currently is this

that's kind of a relief then that it's just my graphics card being moderately weird and not like, dying.. edit: apparently tho i can't update my driver according to what i'm seeing. it does not appear anywhere on the AMD website anymore and I can't use their auto-detector because I have neither windows 7 nor windows 10, I have windows 8.1 and it isn't supported. So I guess i'm just gonna have to live with it lol

For some reason every so often these giant squares or weird graphical glitches show up all over my screen and it seems to come from certain avatars. It started randomly, maybe after I updated firestorm but idk. I don't think I'm really overheating THAT bad? It never goes above 76C and if it does I minimize it. I always keep a fan pointed towards it too to make sure it doesn't really overheat. It has never gone above that, but I was a bit worried at first about the graphics card. Here's a pic of it happening at the bottom. The boxes kind of flash off and on for a moment and then they will go away. Just now it happened with an avatar that wasn't mine. I was pointed towards him and all these pink spikes shot all over the screen and I started lagging horribly . When I faced away from him it stopped. I had to turn down the compelxity and it still was happening for a while but then eventually quit. Anyone know what this is?

Sorry if this is worded weird but I recently got a new gesture that I like to use but it requires you having to have an item attached. Is there any possible way for me to just add it to every outfit without having to cycle through and save each one after I attach the item?

I'm trying to use the skin / tatto i'm wearing on my classic av but I cannot find the LeLutka BoM applier anywhere. Catwa has one, Belleza Jake has one, LeLutka says it's compatible but I can't find the applier anywhere

what do you mean by 'old crap'? the shape? the clothes, the hair..?

I know there are hundreds out there but I can't seem to find the one for me. I want to use my same skin and the tattoo on my mouth so BoM will have to work on it... plus I use BoM on my body with the same skin and I want them to be the same skin, so... This is my current avatar (ignore the whole alpha issue i just don't have it turned on) My biggest problem has been eyes. I cannot get them the right shape in nearly every demo I have tried. I have tried skell, travis, and i think daniel for catwa. I wanted to go with Catwa but it seems none of their eyes are working for me so far. I would also like a slightly less square chin area but I haven't been able to achieve that for the classic head I would keep the classic one but I don't like that it doesn't have animation , but when I do use something with animation in it (like...a specific bed, persey) the face just looks broken and weird. I don't know if a bento head would help that or if it would play animations from something other than it's own HUD but I'll see. I just want a better one. A smoother one. One that isn't classic and kind of vaguely blocky.

I have a very specific skin I must use that has an omega applier. I couldn't test the head to see if it would be right for me without this skin. So of course, I bought the catwa omega applier for $149, applied the skin, and now it's purple. I don't know what I did wrong or how to fix this. i cannot get his head without knowing if it's right. I cannot get it without applying the stupid omega. How do I fix this? Is it just impossible? Am I just out $149 now? I can't figure out why this is happening. Nothing on google is giving me any info. edit: i'm using the daniel demo' edit 2 i got it vaguely to work, but not in the right way, by using the baked on mesh option i have. but it only works if i remove the alpha, and if i remove the alpha, the eyes pop out of the head and it's also important that i use a specific tattoo with my head, so how could i even use that head without being able to use baked on meshes?

A lot of times a lot of mesh avatars don't load right for me. They're just a jumbled mess. arms and elgs all over in the wrong place. I want a mesh body so I got a demo for a mesh body and it loaded right at first but when i relogged and tried to reapply it, it's just a jumbled mess. it won't load.. i don't know how to fix this. i've reset it. myself, but it's still a jumbled mess. i took it off and put it back on; i'm still a jumbled mess. i don't want to buy a mesh body and then onyl be able to see it some times. s how do i fix it? this happened within a span of a few minutes, i didn't update my drivers at all.

It's not so much the avatar I have a problem with, it's great, and it's not actually a problem just confusion. In almost all of their avatars say something along the lines of : *NOW COMPATIBLE WITH THE "PRIMAL LIFE" SURVIVAL GAME!* I wanted to try to do whatever that was. Some of them talked about leveling up dinos and stuff and I assume a HUD is needed for it. I first searched 'Primal Life' in the search bar thinking it was a Sim but it was not so I instead went to the Dawn Kingdoms land hoping to find more info. Again, nothing. I can't figure out how to participate in this game. Can someone help?

I didn't know exactly where to post this, but since it wasn't an actual question about MY avatar... why the heck do avatars have brains? I don't know of its a SPECIFIC mesh or what but everytime I load into a sim , chances are in addition to seeing floating clothes, I'm gonna see a floating brain. I just can't fathom why the care was put into putting a brain in when you're not even supposed to see it ,and what the point of it is?

that's what i intended to do, i'm just not sure exaclty how to do it. the script says this: touch_start(integer total_number) { llStartAnimation("asslap"); i am guessign if i can get another animation in there, i can replace that line with the name of the new animation. but what if i just want to get rid of the animation all together? i just don't know how to do that. I could post the whole script here but I'm worried about it being illegal or something to do that. it's not very long. edit: also i'm not sure how put a new animation in there. do i just drag it to the contents folder from my inventory?

I don't know anything about scripting but the script I have for a spanker looks editable. I like it, mostly for the noise that comes with it but not the animation. I looked in the contents and the animation is in it but is there a way for me to remove it or choose a different one?

I have a lot of old saved outfits with different hair that I want to keep using but everytime I equip it I have to unequip the hair and re-equip the new hair. I know I can just delete the outfit and resave it but is there a way to just update them instead of deleting them?

I don't know much about how second life works or the land ownership or anything like that, other than that my friend owns land in Haman (which I think is just standard SL land? so no third party owners) somehow our land is covered in memes. there are pictures flying everywhere with a lot of noise. i can't personally figure out where it's coming from but friends have said they've reported it. it's been like three days i think. they're still there. we can't be in this land anymore because of the memes. it causes lag and stuff. so what can we do about this? how did they even place these memes? it's been reported i think at least three times by my friends. i think one of them said there's a box way up in the sky but idk how they managed to place it there. and there's also one on the ground.

the problem is I still need to be able to see my own avatar so I don't want to put it down that far. It's not that high as of right now but I can't say what it will be like in the future.

I'm trying to join a club but my computer and internet is not great. When there are many avatars in one place it just slows to a crawl and my computer starts getting very hot. I've heard that stopping peoples avatars from loading helps this but I can't find the option anywhere (I'm in Firestorm) I'm also concerned that if I turn off their avatars I won't see when a new person comes in and I need to be able to greet them... Is there something I can do?

Is there a way I can reset the hover height? The one I messed with was not in the shape/edit appearance menu, it was the 'right click appearance adjust hover height' one. I wasn't wearing anything different. What happened was that I was made to stand on a spot that had me up against the wall, and my shoes were sinking into the ground because my character is 7'10 and is wearing high heels. They told me 'adjust the hover height' to fix it, so I did, and when I was released from that square I tried putting it back to where I THINK it was, but I might be off slightly, so I have no idea what one it was before unfortunately. I didn't' change the outfit at al before and after these pics 😞

so is there no way to get it back to the way i had it before? i don't understand why it worked just fine until i changed my hover height. i set it back to what it is was, so i don't know why it's still doing that.

I can but I go through the furniture. It wasn't like that before I adjusted my hover height. I only adjusted it because my feet were going through the floor on one spot but I didn't have much trouble when I sat on things. Now everywhere I sit, I sink into the furniture, even though I put it back to where I had it... And when I try to fix it, other parts of my body are way to high. Is there any way I can fix this? I did sink in a LITTLE before but now it's ridiculous This is before and after I changed my hover height. It should be obvious which one is broken.
