    Hey Lindal you deserve a big hug.................9_9

    I've been very lucky in SL, because I chat a lot, and after the first few days just chatted around all the time, and it got me some good friends and somewhere to hang out very quickly. So after that start, I found out about mesh, and pushed really hard to understand it. Every day I learn something new, and I learn something else I don't know.

    Shopping malls have transformed the way I shop, and finding the forums has helped me hugely. There are some lovely people on here, and it's a community I love being part of. In fact my whole SL experience, apart from one or two guy encounters, and lack of self control one day has been fantastic. I love it here!!!:D

    Hey let me share one more thing with you and the Forum Community...........*smiles*

    Early on, a guy hit on me in Kuula (NCI). At that time I wasn't used to such directness, and asking for sex in the first sentence..........................Obviously I refused but tried to explain why.....

    As he departed his parting shot, over his shoulder was "Oh you're a Liz"................leaving me with a baffled look.................... I knew he was trying to insult me but I had no idea what being a "Liz" meant.............................

    Anybody know? ............................ *looks around while tapping fingers on table*.........................................:x

    I had to look it up on Google. You know what? I think he was right (haha)..... If I'm not a Liz, I aspire to be one. Here's what Google says about it..........

    Liz describes a girl that once you meet, you'll never forget. She's a walking oxymoron. She's sweet, yet spicy, hot, but cold, you get it. She seems to attract men to her, like she pulled their coin out of the fountain of love. She can kick ass in dancing, sports, and any other 'cool' hobby. But don't get on her bad side, cuz she can also kick ass there too..... YOUR ASS! If you're lucky enough to be her friend or best friend or boyfriend, you'll be having laughs and side pains the rest of your life. Definitely a must for all individuals seeking a great life.

    The most amazing friend you will ever come across. She has the biggest heart and is always there for you through ever minute of every day. She's there when you need someone to vent to or just need a shoulder to cry on. She will not judge you for your decisions but she will help you and be there for you throughout your journey. She tries her best to be the best friend she can possibly be. She deserves more than the world.

     A liz is someone who is beautiful, talented, and almost always really smart. Occasionally they may be stubborn and persistently attempting to prove their point but with always good reasoning. So considerate that even when the situation is not really hilarious a liz laughs at things but when is funny begins to crack up. A liz is often correct and competitive, most of the times a liz also wins. The only down side to a liz is that they may be a sore loser and not know when to give up. They are defined as know-it-alls and often confused with the term "little Einstein". They are athletic, amazing, outgoing, people. (They can be flexible too) They have a total desire to be filling themselves with chocolate every second of every day and have a strong hate towards white chocolate. They, like most kids, have a tendency to be playing video games but also continuously be moving and playing preferably outside. Lizs' are adored by many people and enjoy challenges, anything related to academics, and most of the time favors the subject (art) of Gym. 

    So now, every day I aspire to be a Liz. Maybe I should set up a Liz Group haha.................................................

    I remember one time I was shopping with a girlfriend way way back when we were pretty new, and this guy wouldn't leave us alone..So she pulled out this broom from her inventory and shot him far away..

    I about fell out laughing,because I was just amazed what that broom could do.. hehehehe

    I wouldn't recommend anyone doing this because you can get inn trouble..But we didn't,luckily.

    For hair Another good one is  Doux if nobody has mentioned it already..

    Also RunAway [RA]

    Oh and ItGirls has some really nice hair also! \o/ just wish the one I bought had a styler hud with it,but it's still really nice..

    ETA:Correction with the ItGirls one..,on the market place  they only have the one style.. For some reason I thought they had more..

    maybe soon in the future they will,because the texturing on the one I have is really nice..

    They also have some really nice skins,shapes and makeups if you are using Catwa..

     

     

    When I tell a guy my favourite thing is shopping it has the same effect.....................................................

    What I really don't like is they come at you either wanting a girlfriend or sex, or both, after ten seconds conversation, and then amazingly when it doesn't work, all you get is "bye then"......

    What sort of thinking expects that approach to work?  I dunno....... SL guys eh?

    I had NO idea about strippable clothing until now........... I'm SO inexperienced at this stuff...........................but learning fast!

    Got loads of shoes at Ingenue. What a place!!!!! I need to go back to Vanilla Bae when I get more time.............9_9

    Mission Update:

    Visited Addams, Narcisse, Cynful, Belle Epoque. Joined Blueberry and got the dress and the black laced top..........

    Yesterday got more shoes and two more hairs............by accident haha.:x

    All good places, some not too much my style, but I bought stuff in nearly all. Addams is a huge store which is very sporty. Sports bra's and short shorts abound. Not my thing, but I still found some clothes after serious searching. Addams was very slow to rezz, I guess due to the size of the display. All these places are now in my Landmarks.......9_9

    As an aside I was hit on...... in the sand box this morning. That was a first!! haha, by a lovely guy who wants to find a girlfriend in SL and convert her into a RL girlfriend.......... I did my best with my twelve weeks experience to try to recalibrate his expectations, but I don't think he's realised yet what a challenge that will be. The holy grail in fact. Another "be my girlfriend" hit in Kuula this morning, probably a teen......................

    So back to the changing room............

    Oh I did something this morning I wouldn't normally do..............................*bashful look*......

    I listened to a guy about style..........................That's a first for me..............o.O

    There's a classic disk dress, I can't remember the original designer, but it's available in the marketplace under "LIndaline disk dress". I tried the demo and it looks fantastic.........  Oh and the model looks just like me........haha!!

    Pics to follow when I get the bra & pants sorted out...............9_9

    More shopping is planned..........................................................asap in fact.

    Thanks Sukubia and well spotted!!! The orange dress and hair do interact with a transparent layer where they overlap. I'll see what can be done. May have to put my hair up..........

    The Alpha mask setting has fixed it. So grateful for your advice. Something else I've learned today!!!!9_9

    At the risk of boring everybody silly...............................*whistles*.........after a mammoth away mission to the Malls, I have spent most of the last 24 hours either planning or making up outfits......this is not the whole list........

    9_9:x  I'm getting the hang of this. Except for the frilly red corset......I can't find any knickers that don't show through. Do I need to apply the knickers to the tatoo or underwear layer??? No big deal but I'm  very exposed in that corset...............may have to be indoor use only........

    The first one is my homage to Wonder Woman. The yellow one is my most demure outfit. Number five is the Blackberry freebie. It's just lovely. Number six is the corset.

    I might bore you a bit more later.......... *smiles*.  Had a great day today in an empty house with nooo interruptions.

    This only works for the first 1000 characters.  After that it gets complicated.

    There are many many extended and accented characters in unicode plus characters used for other languages like Russian, Arabic, Korean, etc. They all have there own sections.  There are other oddities in there as well.   ↷  שּׁ  ⊈ ⎙   ⚢   ⛄  and so on.  

    Very few fonts have characters for all the values.  Also, not all values are defined in the unicode table.  When ever something is unknown it gets printed as an empty box.   ▯

    Usually the easy way is just copy and paste from one you have found somewhere else.   You might find these useful and they are kind of a pain to input with Alt+ method.  So copy then here and paste them in a note card in world.

    If you want to use some of these characters in your display name I suggest you have a cup of coffee ☕  and think it over first.
