When I signed up for SL, I was under the impression it was a pre-build open world, where you could be anything. Had read something on a forum or whatever from a guy who was a mobster on SL. Sounded cool, as I loved playing mafia and mobster games. So I went with a name that sounded fit to that theme. Lomba was one of the names on the list provided, and Frank kinda felt right with it. Quite the surprise when I logged in SL and it was nothing at all as I expected.

I actually enjoy shopping! (yeah I am weird like that...) Have just redesigned my avie and need to fill up my wardrobe accordingly. Now I still will not change outfits as much as "some" in this topic, but at least a fresh pair of cloths each two days is a nice goal right?

After a bit of a break, and a few breaks before that, my landmarks have become terribly outdated. I am quite the Sci-Fi geek, and love exploring and making pictures in regions designed in that theme. I know I can find some trough search, and I will. But I am hereby also asking if people know of amazing locations to visit. I came across Drune the day before, and it was closed the day after to my big regret. Hoping it will be temporarily. There was a multi region futuristic area but I can not remember the name of it, and no idea if that is still online either. So, any tips?

I think tax is awesome! I doubt it is being efficiently and well used everywhere. But it provides us with infrastructure, welfare, base income, healthcare and much more. The downside, a lot of it is being lost in bureaucracy and forms of corruption and horrible budgeting systems. But in general, I am all for taxes. Prefer paying taxes to living in a country where people have to live on the street or can not afford being healthy and such. On topic, I generally rent parcels on private regions. Then do some building and decorating. Forget to log on and pay rent, and get everything returned to me. And repeating that process for the past 13 years on and off. Currently owning a beach front house on ground level, and a Sci-Fi skybox/photo area up high. Would I win the lottery, after getting bored with traveling and al sorts of other stuff and return to SL, I would most likely buy a full region and go wild on it.
