Hi everyone! I posted something similar to this last month when I first joined but can't figure out how to edit it. I figured I'd just start a new topic so this gets seen. So yeah, I'm Matt and I just joined SL last month. I haven't really made any friends other than a few people that I talk to occasionally in clubs, etc. I am looking for people who are active and wanting to chat / hang out. I mostly spend my time in dance clubs, shopping, or at home. I have a home but it's just me all alone lol. Hmm, what else can I say about myself. I am in my early 30's. I live in Canada. I am open to be friends with girls or guys of any age though. I am a pretty laid back type of guy. I can be kind of shy/quiet especially at first. I am gay and in a long term RL relationship. The only reason I feel the need to bring this up is so people don't get the wrong idea. I am not looking to be in a relationship with anyone in SL. I am just looking for friends. Girls, don't worry I am not another creepy guy looking for something. I'd love to be your friend though, haha. Anyway, that is about it. I know there are a bunch of other topics that are similar to mine so I will go through those as well. Feel free to add me though if I don't add you first. Hope to hear from some of you soon Matt

Thanks for the info. The sneakers that were poking through were actually from Vale Koer. It was the ones they have as a group gift. They only cut through the jeans a little though so not a big issue. Some of their other ones are probably better too though like you said.

@angeoco, @Rhonda Huntress Thanks for responding. I appreciate it. I guess I'll just be looking for better options that work together. I didn't know if it was something I was doing (or not doing) that was causing the problem. Not a huge issue though Overall i'm happy.

Hey I just upgraded myself to a mesh body (Belleza Jake). All is good except a lot of my footwear is peeking through the bottom of jeans/pants. Say for example I wanted to wear jeans that went inside of boots. I even have some sneakers that are showing through the bottom of jeans. Is this to do with layers or is there any way to fix this problem? Or I just need to look for pants/shoes that work together? Just looking for answers from those more experienced users since I can't really figure it out.

Ok, thanks. I wasn't sure if getting the premium membership was something that most people avoided or what. Again, I am new so just learning about everything. I just wanted a small home/apartment to call my own. Nothing big and fancy. Not yet anyway. I will look into the options you mentioned though. Thanks

Hi all, I am a newbie to SL just learning everything. I was just wondering what my best option would be to get a house for myself. Is it better to upgrade to a premium membership and get land/house or should I rent land from someone else and build a house there. I know you get a certain amount of Lindens per week for upgrading account so not sure if that makes it worth it. Sorry if this type of thing has been asked a million times before. Any thought appreciated
