  1. My last 2 cents. Suicide cannot be prevented. It's a (regrettable) choice which ultimately you only require to accept. Transition is not yet where it should be. I'll welcome progress, but it will take a long time before a man can physically transform completely into a woman and vice versa. That is a fact pretransitionals ought to be fully aware of before the transition. It's a tough road ahead. Any fully transitioned person will affirm. I agree they are brave pioneers of human kind and they have my support. I will not be compelled to speech however by legislation.. I can be asked. Out before the lock.
  2. Meine Zuckerbiene !! 😍🥰💕
  3. /me widens his eyes, raises his hands to his shoulders and slowly tip toes backwards to the exit. Shutting the door behind him and teleporting away instantly.
  4. I rather engage a person presenting themselves as "I'm (not) okay with how you adress me and ( if needed ) I tell you my preference gladly while I know who I am for myself." instead of "You HAVE to adress me and others the way I want or I will not engage with you at all until you do. " ETA : Regardless which identity they bear.
  5. Awww .. so sorry to hear about the cockatiel. I remember his chirps. Here's a hint. We did bike rides on mainland once ... and ghosthunted together. It was in a passed life in SL. Many of it a blur to me.
  6. In all seriousness : let me help you. Alwin can correct me if I'm completely mistaken. The point of reference and framework to be discussed in is hard when an individual has a choice of identity unclear to others. The insistance to singular identify oneself as plural is linguistically impossible maintainable straining in discourse and conversation. I'd ask of you to write down an answer to SeikariTheMierianShadow with the identity preference they prefer, but literally answering to them complicates communication to a level where many simply shut down in response. I find that is an aspect to be seriously considered.
  7. Leaving him one final decision. And yes, the war was lost not only because the United States entered, but also won by the Russian people who had no other choice but to survive the onslaught. „Jeder Deutsche, noch in tausend Jahren, muß sich daran erinnern, daß Deutschland in Stalingrad den Stempel zum Endsieg gesetzt hat!“ - Hermann Göring "Stalingrad. Massengrab." - Russian propaganda speakers during the siege of Stalingrad.
  8. @Ceka Cianci Goddemmit Ceka ! My morning coffee !!1! /me starts whiping off his monitor.
  9. @Drayke Newall : You are right : it's not a simple "Oh, but their navy wasn't big enough. , but a bigger ( or more succesful ) navy would have had impact and has added to the factors the Allies had the upper hand in. Still hard to speculate upon though if the roles had been reversed. The detail in your answer is very succint and thourough.
  10. BelindaN mentioned it, because that is actually a huge impact. Unlike the UK ( being supported with shipments from the U.S.) , the Germans could not succesfully exploit their force on the water. There was an armed balance between the British and German fleet. That was settled in favour of the British after the Bismarck was sunk. It also meant that Germany was incapable of collecting valuable resources from others parts of their conquered territory back to the harbour of Hamburg. Unlike the UK , Germany was too isolated to be supplied by sea, so all their naval effort went into fighting the British supply convoys hard enough to almost tip the scale. Had they had a big enough or powerful enough navy including the dreadnoughts, the war would have been less hopeless to them. I doubt though that would have been enough to win the war for them.
