My rite of passage was the ability to save outfits. Before then, it took forever to change, and I had to leave where I was at to go to my house to change.

I feel cheated...I wasn't allowed the chance for a last name; therefore, I came up with falconblue. I hate "falconblue.resident", but at least we have the opportunity to change the tag above our heads. I just go by Falcon. But I would have liked something such as "Falcon Frenzy", "Falcon Fortune", etc when creating the sign in name.

I would like to be considered for a DJ position. However, I cannot find either of you when trying to send a notecard to you. Thanks Falcon aka falconblue.resident EDIT: never mind! I found you and sent you the notecard, Pat.

IMs can be better in those places where local chat is being bombarded by the gesturebators.

I get a diiferent message "You have been logged out of Second Life. This region may be experiencing trouble. Please check your connection to the internet." My internet seems to work fine; I hope it's nothing different.

I uploaded my own avatar for forum posts, but It appears too small compared to other members who post in the forum.. How can I resize it to make it larger? Or, do I have to post a certain amount of times to have a larger avatar.

Since yesterday, there will be chat typed in Local that repeats itself and adds parentheses around it. What kind of viewer are you using? If it's Phoenix Firestorm, go to the upper left half of the viewer and click Avatar and then look at the drop down menu for Avatar Health. Choose that and it will give a menu with a choice of Force Avatar Update (rebake). Click on that and your avatar should reload in full. I do that when my avatar loads without clothes sometimes.

I wasn't able to edit my post, but the epicenter was in Cokedale, CO which is 128 miles south of where I live in Colorado Springs.

There were a few in southern Colorado earlier that day just after midnight with the largest magnitude of 5.3. The others close in that area had magnitudes of 3 to 4. The local news said that people were feeling as far north as Colorado Springs where I live. Google says that it is 128 miles south of me off of Interstate 25.

I won't miss the Burger King at all. That frozen smile of his gave me the jeebies. But to answer your question, I miss the Aflac duck. I would only see the commercials during the baseball games on TV in the summer and they stopped showing them 2 years ago.

Hello everyone, I'm a new Second Life citizen and have premium status. I have started decorating my home and am currently moving furniture in. I would like to change the floor by adding carpeting on the second level and a wood floor to the bottom level. Also, I would like to change the color of the walls. I have racked my brain trying to search in the blogs, knowledge base, and forum posts on how to make changes to floors, walls, and ceilings; but can't find the answer. I have specifically looked with the key word textures. Maybe I have chosen the wrong key word. Any help would be appreciated.
