Yep, you edit it using manual edit. Edit linked parts worked fine, I never noticed that before. Now there are a few other things I can mod that I couldn't do properly before. Thank you for teaching me a new skill. It may be every day knowledge to everyone else, but it was very useful to me.

No note card as the item wasn't boxed, no menu when clicked it just casts the line. I guess I can ask some of the other fish hunters, but it's easier for me to read a forum post than a constantly moving chat window. I'll give it another hour to see if someone can help here then I'll seek help further in world.

He did mine and he did quite good job. If I ever need to change it again I'll use him, even if he charges for it.

I'm sorry but I don't know which section to put this in. I have a Fish Hunt PRO Rod R5 and want to change the colors of it, but I can't do it properly. All I can do is change the color of the entire thing one color. I've seen people with them all different colors so I know it can be done. Is there some kind of "for dummies" guide to changing the color properly?

Or you could use one of the many tga to jpg converters out there.

Quick update, the owner did a restart of the sim and everything is working how it should again.

Tried buying somewhere else and it worked. The store does sell on the marketplace but the items are currently "dollarbie" items (L$1) and are full price on the market. I went back to the store in question to try again (to make sure) and it's still doing it. Should I report it to the store owner or someone else?

The big problem with that is the things I am trying to buy are only sold in one store and as far as I can find they only have that one location. I'll go try buying a L$1 something at another place I know and see if it works.

I can not make any in world purchases, every time I try to my L$ balance goes to -1 and I get this message "An internal error prevented us from properly updating your viewer. The L$ balance or parcel holdings displayed in your viewer may not reflect your actual balance on the servers." When I close the viewer and relog the balance is back to normal but if I try to make another purchase it does it again. It's happened 4 times in the past hour, twice on Singularity Viewer and twice on the official viewer.

I recommend using Paypal, they will accept your card with no problems.

I was mostly thinking of using it for MM boards, sometimes I win more than I can accept (being that midnight in SL is 3 am here) or even if I win only a few sometimes you only have so long to log in and claim the prize. From experience only about 10% of mm boards have a redelivery option and asking the owner for a redelivery (for ones that don't have it) even very nicely is like asking them if you can remove their kidney with a rusty spoon. I was thinking leave it logged in when I go to bed and then I'll get my items. I'm not one of those that blindly clicks MM boards, I make sure of what it is first so I know what I am getting so random unknown items will get deleted for safety reasons. Someone should invent something that'll auto accept items specifically from MM and S&D boards.

Is there some kind of hud or something that you can wear that will automatically accept inventory that is sent to you?

Thanks for the answers, I usually only use one viewer (Singularity) and use the official one if I get something "stuck" on me (RLV or otherwise). I do have about 5 different avis I use but only change them every couple of days. Usually I only clear the cache twice a week or brfore defraging, but it wouldn't hurt to clear it more often I assume. My connection speed is 15 Mbps down and 1 Mbps up, so I shouldn't have much problems.

I know with web browsers it is better to keep the cache size smaller so you get less crap files stored on your computer, is it similar with SL viewers? Or should it be bigger is better with them? Just asking because it seems to take forever to defrag if I don't clear my SL cache prior to doing it.

I had a similar problem a while back, after pulling my hair out trying to figure it out I threw my router in the garbage and got the one my isp offers (modem and router in one) and the problem went away.

I really didn't want to settle for "similar" but I may have to. I have this nagging feeling that the person/store that made that outfit has been gone for a while (that is why it is so hard to find) and the only place it even exists anymore is buried in a deep dark corner of someone's inventory long forgotten. How do I do it? I joined several groups for notices about MM boards, lucky chairs and whatnot and if group chat is left on for them then you get bombarded with messages from them. I usually use Singularity which it is easy to shut off group chat, but from time to time I like to use the official viewer and I'd use it more often if I could figure out how to shut off group chat.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I whent ahead and sent out note cards to the ones offline and IMs to the ones online, so it should all be good. Thinkerer, thanks I may give that a try on my smart phone.

Duh. Slaps head.. It completely slipped my mind about using notecards. I can send IMs to some but as they are all over the world they are not all online at the same time and like stated offline PMs can be capped. Thank you, getting everything for the move has my brain a little off. :matte-motes-stress: If all goes well then it'll only be a week max before everything is done.

I'm not sure if this is the right section for this, sorry. Is there a way to leave a custom offline message or something? The reason is I'm going to be moving soon in RL (in the next few days or so and I don't want my friends thinking something happened.

I use Singularity, all new inventory since login is listed on the second tab in the inventory box and the items never showed up there (and I never got the Keep, decline box either). Even if it isn't in a "usual" folder it'll still be on that tab. I'll give it a couple more hours then I'll send out another notecard. *The free item was delivered fine now and the other freebies in the shop are being delivered normally (within 6 seconds). So I guess Kylie was right and I worried for nothing. Well I wasn't really "that" worried I wasn't pulling out my hair and screaming "OH NO I DIDN'T GET MY FREEBIE!!" and L$50 can be "found" relatively quickly by coin hunting and cone hopping. So now I'll just wait for the person comes online for the L$50 outfit and hope everything works out fine. *Well it's been about five days (10/26/2011 now) and still haven't heard anything on that L$50 outfit. No item, no refund. Oh well.
