  1. Love the rapport between Louis and Ella on this song:
  2. Off the top of my head: for Blake Sea access look up Fairchang, Hollywood Real Estate, New England, Second Norway, Snug Harbor or Sailors Cove in the directory to find their estate offices. Tuara Fiji and Azure Estates have land here: https://www.anshex.com/second_life_land?last=estate&estate=Sailing+Sims&single_estate=0&page=1 Nb some of the ones in the first paragraph seem to have facebook pages that you can find with google. As I don't use facebook I can't see them but if you do you might find them useful.
  3. I wouldn't be surprised and wouldn't judge if that didn't occur to someone. So they logged on an alt and called out in Bellisseria Group chat for any Linden or Mole online that could help them set the orb timer to 15 seconds to give them a chance to navigate out the home. It would be just my luck too if the landing point was set in the persons bedroom on the top floor so in the 15 seconds then available you would be jumping furniture and pets, trying to open doors (without them pushing you into the wall), running down the spiral staircase get out the front door and navigate the formal garden in the 15 seconds now available. A sort of Donkey Kong mini game. If I was a Mole or Linden and I saw the request, I think I would play along with the request too, just to enjoy the spectacle.
  4. I had this happen not so long ago. You watch in horror as the screen alternates between a teleport screen and a few frames of your old home with the you aren't wanted here, ejected message. After it loops a few times and the woooshing noise has begun to irritate you close the viewer and go have a nice cup of tea whilst you ponder the enormity of the situation and potential eternal repeating loop you have inflicted on yourself. At some point later you will remember that you have the option to pick a destination at login screen or use marketplace to login at a safe store.
  5. Wikipedia quotes Lou Donaldson saying "Willie Pickens is one of the last great bebop pianists."
  6. I had this recommended to me, so going to give this a good listen now
  7. I used to have this 1959 album on a cassette and recently bought a digital copy. Amazing album
  8. It sort of amuses me that two years before that recording Coleman Hawkins was meeting Ben Webster backed by an Oscar Peterson led rhythm section.
  9. Just because it might be useful there is a pier in the Shell Beach region just outside horizons with a rezz zone as well.
  10. I was tempted to reply with a Weather Report tune, but maybe this from his 1964 with Freddie Hubbard, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter and Elvin Jones is better and more in keeping with the style. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speak_No_Evil
  11. Back to working now but I have Miles Smiles on that I bought recently as I kept hearing about how great an album it is. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miles_Smiles
  12. Still thinking Nat king Cole, I have to post his Route 66 again And might as well include some Ray Charles
  13. Wiki entry: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Complete,_Legendary,_Live_Return_Concert
  14. A fusion of Jazz Kokoroko present their first-ever official music video, a beautiful short film soundtracked by 'Ewà Inú,' 'Home', and 'Age of Ascent' from the band’s debut album (released August 2022 on Brownswood Recordings). The film is directed by the multi-disciplined filmmaker, writer & video artist, Akinola Davies Jr. It re-imagines the music as a soundtrack to a triptych of interconnected stories set in Makoko (sometimes known as the Venice of Africa), a community originally settled by fishermen, excluded from official census records, and under threat of demotion.
  15. I love Nat King Cole, he has a wonderful warm voice.. Aurora did a version of the song a few years ago, very striking and brings out a mystical quality.
  16. Great song, that means alot to people. I especially love Eva Cassidy's version Restored footage of Eva Cassidy performing Over The Rainbow. The performance took place at the Blues Alley jazz supper club in Georgetown, DC, on the 3rd January 1996.
  17. John Scofield's recent version of the Grateful Dead song Guitar: John Scofield, Double Bass: Vicente Archer, Drums: Bill Stewart
