  1. The maintenance has finished. Thanks for your patience. __Oskar
  2. We are in the process of doing some rack migration work in our Phoenix facility. Some regions might be restarted.   __Oskar
  3. This was a security issue and on principle we only discuss them after they are patched. This was a patch to fix a content theft hole. Had we mentioned that before, then everyone who knew of the exploit would have worked like made to exploit it while it was still exploitable. It's happened before. All seems well on the grid now and hopefully we can have a nice peaceful St Patricks Day and a weekend with no more security patches and no more rolling restarts. Next Tuesday/Wednesday will resume the regularly scheduled upgrades. __Oskar
  4. Milano, I'm sorry you weren't notified. I was not aware of this Concierge Channel and I apologize that it was not notified. I asked Concierge to look into it. __Oskar
  5. It will require a restart for all regions. It is happening now. __Oskar
  6. We are doing an emergency server deploy to the entire grid tonight. This was unplanned, but warranted. I can post more details when we are finished. This will take most of the rest of the evening. This will affect all regions and all channels.   __Oskar
  7. It looks like Maestro has commented on that Jira. __Oskar
  8. I updated the LeTigre page with information about this release. It's a really tiny release with just a few minor bug fixes and security patches. - https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Release_Notes/Second_Life_RC_LeTigre/11 __Oskar
  9. Sorry about that Pauline. The release guys are fixing it as we speak. __Oskar

Please file a JIRA for issues you find and post the JIRA link into this thread. It really helps us out. When determining if issues are relevant or not research is key. Tracking down exactly the right situation where an issue is occurring greatly speeds up the development process to get fixes in place.   I appreciate your help. Have a good week!   __Oskar   [[ UPDATE ]] Because of a content theft security exploit we have patched all 4 channels to be running the same code: https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Release_Notes/Second_Life_Server/11#11.03.16.224235
  11. These are the wiki pages that we have: - http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Beta/Magnum - http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Beta/LeTigre - http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Beta/BlueSteel Things on the server side of things will by their very nature be more technical. I do try to describe things in ways that are easier to understand. Those pages link to the release notes for each project that we have on the live grid. __Oskar
