Not rezzing much - bad lag everywhere

I know you say your settings and internet connection are OK, but try rebooting your cable modem anyway.   That forces a new connection to SL, and often cures this sort of problem.   And it can't do any harm.

Most of the time bad lag is local, right on your own computer or internet connection, or in the way your viewer is configured, so that's the place to start. As the current generation of viewers by LL and the TPVs add features and get more sophisticated, they push users' computers harder than the older versions.  Take a look at http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/doku.php?id=fs_very_laggy for some suggestions about what may be causing your own lag.
