I know Builders Brewery has some clothing classes in-world.  NCI use to.  Do a search  in-world under Events.  It should show what is available at any given time.  You can also extend the search to see what may be given later in a day/week so you can plan on attending.

One word of advice make sure you have your chose graphics program installed and be somewhat familiar how to use it.  Otherwise, you may need to look at classes that provide you information with how to use your graphics software before taking clothing classes. Remember, they have real lives as well.

Keep in mind, most that teach classes teach them for free (check any listing to be sure if their is a fee) and are not paid to teach.  They prepare the lectures and take the time out of their busy schedules to provide this information to you and others.

Go to class prepared. Make sure you have the time to attend the entire class most are 60-90 minutes.  Install any requires software.  Have you met the prerequistes required for the class?  While attending class, be courteous, patient, and understanding...SL doesn't always cooperate, which is not the educator's fault...and there may be language barriers....or any number of issues not the fault of the person teaching.    Practice what you learned after class.  You can always take the class over..  It is considered courteous and good form to tip the person teaching a class.

Other resources you might want to look at is www.youtube.com.  Many SL creators of clothing, prim items, Blender, and various other related items,  frequently post   video tutorial on many many subjects.   Simply do a search in youtube.

Another resource is simply a google search.  I did one for  SL clothing tutorial and it came up with 1.2 million results.  There are many videos, blogs and how tos out there.
