Canoro Philipp
hi everyone, i made this JIRA https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-28004 about having the dockable buttons on the top too, if you think its a good idea, you could review it and watch it, and/or vote for it.this is the idea:bringing the dockable buttons improved a lot the viewing space, if they give the possibility to also dock the buttons to the top, it will improve the viewing space even more, it would give us a clean vision of the world while keeping the functions visible, they can be arranged next to the back/forward and home button.they have the search/land bar on top, and the landmarks bar, and horizontal space for them will diminish, but just as we have a button for search that does the function of the search/land bar, we could have a button for landmarks, a star one, to save space, it would just do what the button "more" does when there are too many landmarks to display, when there are no landmarks in the favorites bar, all the horizontal space is available, that can be used to have the dockable buttons on the top.another option could be to have the buttons dockable below the search/land bar, that will take as much viewing space as to have them at the bottom, as we can right now. but will use the bottom and sides as viewable space.here are some samples of what im saying:buttons on the top bar:buttons under the top bar:

Canoro Philipp
me too, i feel it also gives you the benefit of bringing your attention to the menus and sound icon and all the options in the upper bar, reduces 3 bars to 2, and all your HUDs can be visible. VRprofessor
The first looks best to me. The favorites bar may need to be reconfigured as a pull down menu.
Canoro Philipp
youre right, i think we have a limitation on the number of favorites we can have in the favorites bar, if its so, a menu would not occupy much vertical space.

SatguruS1488312156
You got my vote. I like the first option. Save space and also makes the viewer look more like a standard window application, internet browser
