Why did Secondlife screw up the deal of my life by crashing????

I was making a deal with somone abouth a real life item trade for som items in SL

WHY THE ... DID SECONDLIFE CRASH AT THAT MOMENT AND HE JUST WENT OF!?????

Did you crash or did he crash?  If he crashed then I got to say it's real easy to fake a crash..........just hit "quit" ("Ooops!!  I crashed!").  If you crashed then what do you want LL to do?  You're viewer crashed........that's on your end.  If you got caught up in one of the rolling restarts were going on earlier, then notice was given.........it's usually not a good idea to get too involved in important stuff with sims being restarted.

Without a secondlife.log or debug_info.log taken before you restarted SL after the crash, we'll never be able to determine for certain.

Go to your People > Recent tab. The persons you have IMed recently will be listed there, if you haven't logged off yet. Also, you could check your chat logs and get their name from there. Either way, once you have their name, you can contact them and let them know you are still very interested in making a deal, though it does sound like they got scared and poofed
