LOCKED OUT: Your stuff stuck on land of someone no longer friendly. What to do?

This happened to a friend of mine. They ask me for advice, but I am not sure what they can do as this never happened to me!

Their stuff is now struck on the land of a former friend (I guess something made this friendship between them go very bad), and now they don't know how to get their stuff back from them! What can they do?

Myself, I have no idea... never been in that situation! I'd love to give them some great advice to help get their stuff back & will pass on any great tips of recovery from this thread to them.

Your friend can try to appeal to the former friend's best interest.  All of those extra prims lying around will not do them any good.  If the ex-friend does not want your friend near the land, the ex can easily 'return to owner' and be done with the prims.

It is unfortunate these things happen.

If your friend is the owner of the items try standing outside the boundary of the land, cam in and take the objects back.   Problem solved.

I have read that submitting a ticket for help or live chat if that's an option will allow the owner of the items a small window of time to go and retrieve their stuff.
