how do I give my teen lindens who just started sl?

How do I give my teen who just started sl some lindens...? we share the same computer..so we arent on the same time..can I use her profile even though they only have first names? when I look her up on search, I get two names...she was only offered a username with no last name...how do I find her?

Just like you give anyone else lindens.  Select their avatar and Pay them.

Right click on the avatar --> IM --> Pay

If you are in SL yourself, just send him L$ by clicking on his profile and selecting Pay.  If you're not, deposit RL money into whatever account he defined for payment information when he registered for SL.  For example, if he's using a PayPal account for buying L$, send a few dollars to that account.  He'll be able to draw on it as needed.  (Of course, he might  decide to use the PayPal account to order an outrageous T-shirt on line instead, but that's the risk parents take with teens.)

If she has just one username and you need two names the last one will be: "Resident"

Open her profile when you are logged in and "Pay" her L$
