Sl cannot be accessed from this computer (i am not banned)

hi i rung up the help service and they had a look at my account and said im not banned but i cannot sign in i keep getting the message sl cannot be accessed on this computer they said that it had something to do with my computer ? but what is causing the problem

can anyone tell me how to solve this problem ???

Unplug your router/modem. Allow a few minutes and plug it back. Connect to the Internet, it will force your connection to refresh you IP. This seems to have been working for quite a few residents having the same issue as yours.

Try two different things......   First try rebooting your router.  Unplug it for a couple of minutes and then plug it back in.  That will let it gbet a fresh grasp on your IP address.

If that doesn't work, it may be a DNS problem.  Take a look at  http://neilrobinson.wordpress.com/2008/05/19/a-fix-for-dns-errors/.  That site gives you a very good explanation of how to change your DNS setting.  They recommend 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 .  It may be smarter to use the free Google public DNS instead.  That's 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
