Really? I hope so... this would be sweet!

I'm gonna go check it out with my fox which measured 1.5 PE on the import screen >> then went up to 2.0 PE in SL :matte-motes-big-grin:

Yes! My fox now equals 1 prim inworld..... & now registers 0.5 prim on the import screen (so real PE must be lower still)!

How light is this fox really?    I wonder.... :matte-motes-sunglasses-2:

YAY :matte-motes-delicious:. Yes, it works! Let's hope it's not just a bug.

Btw. the viewer shouldn't matter much, because the numbers comes from the server anyway.

Tested with DRTSIM-68 11.08.02.237549 on Aditi. It looks like they have removed the one pe per linkset*.

So now you can have a 1 PE mesh again. It still doubles when you add a script, but now that just makes it 1PE per prim.

*On the wiki page, that means base_cost = 0.

I am glad that i decided to delay the kettle quest video about physics, server weight and linksets for a while. Like always everything moves too fast to get caught ;-)

It would be nice if some of the responsible persons would update the wiki pages, because that is the only official information we have.
