Ishtara Rothschild Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Demos increase texture upload costs as well as vendor and script usage, which greatly contributes to sim lag as well as asset server problems. They're only really common for skin and hair.
Jennifer Boyle Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Perhaps because they fear too many people won't buy it if they fiind out how it actually looks before they do.
Ry0ta Exonar Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 to save money (upload fee), work (to make demos) and prims!
Sophia Trefusis Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Because otherwise people could copy your designs.
Ceka Cianci Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 regular layer outfits won't change much from how they look on another avatar in an add unless the image has been photochopped to death..prim clothes are about the only thing i have ever seen demos for..mostly sculpt items like jackets and boots..
mcbridejack Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 the thing is they are old coder with their on the 2007 days they dont realise that nowadays if your going to a do in second life you want an outfit, not a baldy brad pitt skin, these guys cant market anything lol, they are coders not business people they have not a clue about what we want
