Is there such a  thing where someone can be stealth and still see me with seeing them?

There are ways to be slightly hidden -- uncheck the box next to a person's name in your Friends list that allows him to see that you are online, for example -- but there's really no way to hide completely.  Any beginning scripter can write a script that lets you tell when anyone you want is logged in to SL.  There are freebie (and expensive) scripts like that all over SL, and they are perfectly legal.

Now, many people (perhaps most of us) have more than one account, and some people keep a second or third account (an alt) completely anonymous so that they can be in world without being recognized.  If that's what you're after, go for it.  Just remember that once a secret is known by two people, it's not a secret any more.  :smileywink:

ETA:  Afterthought .....  Did you mean physically invisible?  If that's what you want, just wear a full body alpha layer.  Remember to take off all prim attachments, including hair.  The alpha body layer will hide your avatar from view, except for your ID tag overhead.

Yes, it is possible to be totally invisible, but you are still there and would still show up on radars or the maps.
