CandyKittyxox
Hello can anyone tell me how to texture a full region in half and half one texture one side another the other side needing the texture elevation range numbers for half and half thanks
Aethelwine
You can adjust the elevation for the textures in the estate menu. But I am not sure if that is what you are asking. What do you mean by half and half? The only way to have a different texture at the same elevation is to use Prims or mesh land forms and texture them.
Rowan Amore
IIRC, the texture and elevation options go by quadrants. NE, SE, NW, SW. Let's say the land is flat. One texture could be applied to NE and SE while a different texture can be used for NW and SW. NE and NW as well as SE and SW would also work for texturing one half of an estate. Works the same way regardless of elevation. There will, however, always be some overlap. ETA...It's been awhile since I did this. I know I had sand on one half and grass on the other. I'll have to check what the minimum and maximum values are to achieve it. Edited September 18, 2023 by Rowan Amore
Rowan Amore
This is on a flat piece of land. It's mostly a trial and error exercise when trying to get the numbers as your land will have a different starting point than mine...
